Spinach salad with cranberry and toasted almonds. Pan seared Rockfish with a lemon butter caper sauce made from the pan drippings.

Went down to Gloucester Virginia to inspect a house right on the Chesapeake Bay. Googled "seafood near me and found a place less than a mile away that had the boats lined up bringing it in fresh. I've never seen so many oysters and clams at the same time. He offered up the Rockfish that was just brought in a couple of hours prior. Yes please!

Scallops two ways: bacon wrapped scallops with a honey vinaigrette, and rosemary skewered scallops with mushroom ravioli and bacon cream sauce. I was supposed to make asparagus to go with this but I forgot to cook it. Nevertheless, it was a good start to the Christmas feasting!
