    Bad Cigars Anonymous

Those Toscano and 'Toscano style' smokes are good cigars in my opinion. Wurm (Shawn) sent me a few from Germany and I enjoyed them, I'm pretty sure most of them consist of all natural tobacco, just that it's dry cured like you mentioned.

    Fuente Añejo Shark

This has happened to me a few times in the past , every time I noticed the cigar was packed/rolled tighter than normal.

    Bad Cigars Anonymous

There are a lot of cigars out there, that are very good imo, for $2 and under... Any of the Cuban JLPs (less than $2 a stick) Padron Londres (about $2 a stick) The Oliva bundles (less than $2) The Lusitanias from Mike's cigar (made by Perdomo, when on sale, about $1.50 per stick) If he doesn't...

    Montecristo cigars

the only similarity is the brand name. One of the worst cigars I've smoked in recent memory was a Monte White label (NC).

    Triple review/thoughts--2 Opus X and 1 Antano

Lately I've become a big Perdomo fan also (ok, let the flaming begin :) ) I would add the Padron 1964 to your list of cigars that make Cubans cigars less wanted/needed,,, personally I'd take one over a Cuban because I know the flavor and consistency is always bang on, you can't say that with...

    Molson Beers

The best of the bunch for me is Molson Dry, but it's still not great.

    Trouble for a newbie

It takes time for your body to build up Nicoteen tolerance... start with milder and smaller cigars, try to not mix with a lot of alcohol... when you feel it coming, grab something very sweet, a cola, a chocolate bar, a few sugar cubes.

Question...DPG Blacks or Tatuaje Series P?

no comparison, the Pepin Black by a country mile... the Tat Ps I had also tasted like air to me, and tasted nothing like the Havana VI line

Who at CP Uses Cigars as an Investment?

Has anyone ever smoked a Cuban cigar with the Pele de Oro tobacco? If so, what characteristics does this leaf have that makes it so different? edited for spelling.

    CA ratings

I think they are a good guide. I've rarely been disappointed with the cigars they rate the highest... some don't fit my palate but the majority are very good cigars, just my opinion though.

    Recent Purchases

I recently started into beers. Some of the ones I've tried in the last month or so... Chimay Red (the finish was too bitter for me) Unibroue La Fin du Monde (really liked) Unibroue Trois Pistoles (good, but I prefer the other Unibroue beers so far) Unibroue Blanche de Chambly (really liked...

    Another Padron X000 Question

The 6000 has been my least favorite so far, but the example I smoked was fresh and I usually smoke Padrons with 1-2 years of age minimum. Also, it was a maduro and I much prefer the naturals in the Padron series. It terms of value, you can't beat the 2000s imo.

    Padron Question

Is this fact or rumor because this doesn't seem like something the Padrons would do? It's the first time I've heard this so I'm curious.

Bolivar Royal Corona problems -- ideas? (not a fake/real thing)

If they were stored at 75% plus then that could be your problem but I've experienced a number of Cuban cigar with inconsistent (better word than shitty) construction. As much as Habanos has improved, I still don't find their construction to be where it should be yet (considering the price and...
