So, having done some searching and checking on Padron's site, I don't really have much of an answer to this question.

Regarding the "regular" Padrons, not the anniversary editions...

Between the 2000, 3000, 4000, etc is the only difference size? Or do they get heavier or stronger as they go up also? Just curious, mostly.

I didn't realize it snows in Vegas... those Padrons are some good smokes :)

Well, it does, kinda....but not really. I'm currently living in NH for winter break, at my parents Bed and Breakfast.

and yes, I was blown away by the first padron I tried.

Welcome to the club my good man. When I was just a cigar newbie sucking on uncut smokes, my good buddy Jabba introduced me to a Padron 2000 and it changed everything. I will now perform favours of any kind to get to know Jose Orlando better.

I think the 3000 are the perfect size. I bought a box of em in maduro for myself as a Christmas preseant and im gona try and pick up a box of PAMs for my birthday in March.
 
I like the thinner Padrons the best, like the Londres, Palmas, and Panetelas.

I think the thinner gauge really intensifies the spicier, leathery flavor of a good aged Padron.

I have no more padrons, but they are al I want to smoke.

Today is a sad day, and there is no source of padrons or any real cigar anywhere near me.

The answer to your question is yes, and no. All the padrons 2-7,000 are the same blend yes. However, when Padron introduces a new size (i.e. the 7,000's) they use their most premium tobacco to get individuals to buy and support their new product. After about 6 months of a new line being produced, you will see a diminishing quality. Not to a bad quality, but to your average padron...it won't be "the best new line" anymore.
 
Let me ask a newb question about the Anniversary Padrons. Edited.....found the answer on the Padron website.

I wasnt sure about the maduros. My local b&m has several of the annys in maduro.

Last year I found a half-full of Panatelas in storage at work which had to be at least 5-7 years old, with a dark yellow cellophane.

Needless to say I picked them up. With that kind of age they taste like '64s, and at two bucks a stick after employee discount, that was one hell of a find.

I'd be interested in hearing the source for this, as well. It sounds utterly ridiculous to me...

I agree, Padron puts their name on cigars that they stand behind. I don't buy this "diminishing quality" story at all.
