Lobster tacos - pretty tasty!

Tried canning for the first time - picked some peppers to see how they come out. The orange/red are sweet peppers, and the all green are Shishito. Canned on 9/22 so going to let them sit for a month before trying them out.

Found myself downtown New Haven on Tuesday and took the opportunity to finally try Louis Lunch. It’s a New Haven landmark and having been born and raised in Ct I’ve always felt a little guilty that I’ve never eaten there. There claim to fame is they say they were the first place to serve a Burgers on bread…..the hamburger in 1895. The menu is limited. You get it on toasted white bread with your choice of American cheese, onions and tomatoes. I got two with everything. Ketchup, pickles and salt or pepper are not available. The burger was good sized and had good flavor but for me would have been better with ketchup and pickles. They were also large enough that I could have lived with one not two but the experience was worth it. Another one off the bucket list.
