Oh and when you "take it to PM," this prick gets nasty and starts saying things in a PM that would get him banned if he posted in public.

This is a very bad reflection on CigarWeekly, that's for sure.......

I'll bet whether he realizes it or not he's more angry at himself for not putting DC on the danged thing. I've done several hundred trades since the late 90s and can't imagine not putting it on there. At most it's 45 cents. But if you print online, it's FREE for goodness sakes.

An adult, even if he believed he were "right", would've owned up for his mistake and offered to return at least half of Alan's money... or come up with some other arrangement. I don't know if jacksi's a thief or a liar. But I sure as hell do believe he's an immature brat.

Okay, this is my first and LAST post here. I only bothered to come here because some people took up for me (Although I didn't ask them to, but appreciate their efforts)and are takin' heat for it. Also, there are some people that I know from other BBs that I think are good people and should hear my side. This is it in a nutshell. I sent ATuck, CigarAl or woever he purports to be on 8/18/05 and have the receipt to prove it. My first instinct was to refund his $$ until I went to the P.O. and spoke the guy I did the transaction with there. I've gone back two more times. He said that if the guy has a P.O. Box and says he didn't get it, I should be suspicious. I looked at the fact that this guy showed up on CW and CigarPiss almost simultaneously two months ago under two different names and red lights go off. So I told him my suspicions and then it was ON. We've gone back and forth trashin' each other and I'm just as guilty as he is in that. When he went whining to his sewing circle at CP, they got their licks in. Then, The Thigh Master, Stair Master or Master Bater (I still don't know what kind of master he is other than maybe Master Chooch)proclaims that he's gonna take care of it. He's gonna "out" me over here. Like I explained to his dumb ass over at CP, he's a pompous, blowhard who carries no weight with me. Nobody that I know, trust and/ or respect knows ATuck. So all these friggan' no names or jagoffs at CP and here that are vouchin' for him or trashin' me, it means the same to me. NOTHING! After all that has gone down, I will NEVER give in unless I have concrete proof. So those of you here I know, I wish you well. Those of you that have trashed me without knowing me, BLOW ME! "

Sucks that there was no resolution to this thus far.... I read the thread both here and on CF. If there was one on CW, then I was denied the honor of viewing it.

Hopefully this was a good learning lesson for everyone....

#1) If you print your labels online with the USPS then you get DC confirmation for free. And it makes things that much easier for everyone.

I dont doubt that Jacksi sent the package, and it probably got lost somewhere along the line. Though rare, it does happen.

#2) There is another thing to be said about making baseless and idiotic accusations and/or distorting the facts. When someone comes out swinging like Jacksi did, it's always a red flag in my mind. This does not equate to him being a scammer, but more to his character under pressure. Something may be going on in his personal life that he is taking out on the board.

#3) Accusing someone of being a scammer for claiming not to have received their cigars is lame at best. Then to rant and rave about meth labs, thigh masters, cigarpiss, etc., is lunacy.

#4) Resolution is always preferable to a prolonged conflict. I dont know Atuck (Alan) well, but from what I'm told he seems like a very reasonable person. I think that if Alan was offered the opportunity to split costs, he'd probably have accepted.

It was jacksi's resposnibility to put insurance and delivery confirmation on the package. I personally think he never sent the package and tried to rob a newbie. I don't think he figured this newbie would make it public.

Now that it is public he goes on the offensive trying to garner support from people he has done business with. He never figured on having me in the mix. He never figured some FOG would take the side of Al and try to get him what he is owed.

His rants and his behavior towards everyone at CF and CP makes me believe he is a scam artist. Someone who really sent the package would have tried to make things right, guilty people act like this.

No disagreement there at all... Alan should not be out one dime... And especially after Jacksi's posts here and on CF.

It's my understanding that Jacksi is under some sort of stress on the homefront... it seems pretty apparent from his posts as no one attacks in such a manner unless they've got something going on....

That said, if he truly believed that he was right and was "reasonable" about things, then I doubt that Alan would have objected to splitting the costs just to help the guy out during tough times...
(That's in the past.....No negotiations now)
