Sucks that there was no resolution to this thus far.... I read the thread both here and on CF. If there was one on CW, then I was denied the honor of viewing it.

Hopefully this was a good learning lesson for everyone....

#1) If you print your labels online with the USPS then you get DC confirmation for free. And it makes things that much easier for everyone.

I dont doubt that Jacksi sent the package, and it probably got lost somewhere along the line. Though rare, it does happen.

#2) There is another thing to be said about making baseless and idiotic accusations and/or distorting the facts. When someone comes out swinging like Jacksi did, it's always a red flag in my mind. This does not equate to him being a scammer, but more to his character under pressure. Something may be going on in his personal life that he is taking out on the board.

#3) Accusing someone of being a scammer for claiming not to have received their cigars is lame at best. Then to rant and rave about meth labs, thigh masters, cigarpiss, etc., is lunacy.

#4) Resolution is always preferable to a prolonged conflict. I dont know Atuck (Alan) well, but from what I'm told he seems like a very reasonable person. I think that if Alan was offered the opportunity to split costs, he'd probably have accepted.

It's my understanding that Jacksi is under some sort of stress on the homefront... it seems pretty apparent from his posts as no one attacks in such a manner unless they've got something going on.....

That said, if he truly believed that he was right and was "reasonable" about things, then I doubt that Alan would have objected to splitting the costs just to help the guy out during tough times...
(That's in the past.....No negotiations now)

Why are you so interested in getting this resolved? Harris has been handling it, and has done pretty well, and Jerk-off-si is either now on, or going on the scumbag list...if you're friends with friends of his maybe tell him Atuck can still go to the USPS a instigate a mail fraud case against him if he wants to push it as the mail was used to send Atuck's money order, and the mails were allegedly used to mail the goods...perhaps Jack-off-si will respond in a more agreeable frame of mind if he gets a letter from the postal inspectors, who frown highly on this...I mean if you're that close to him and his friends, that you know so much about his personal life, and are so worried about his rep, perhaps you might want to pass that along, friend...
