Jacksi; you hold no clout here, your past good dealings with members of this or any BB doesn't make your word worth much. although I would believe it makes you a respected member of the boards it doesn't mean you don't have the burden of proof on your end of the deal.

In one breath 'Come get some", the next breath your selling off your collection for health reasons.
matter a fact I see members of CW who have done more trades than you and are highly respected members of CW posting in this thread.

I see this whole thing as just another ass clown with a salary and an IQ not much over minimum wage.

I sent this guy a MO. I used a DC# when I sent it to him too as we all should even on things like MOs.

I am done dealing with this fool and have come to the conclusion that I will not ever see the cigars or the money so I have just made peace with that. Like I said before, the entertainment value of all of this has almost been worth all of the money. But also, I can't stay mad forever. I did what I could and warned as many people as I could about this jerk. So live and learn.

I think from now on if I am buying something I will offer to pay and extra 2 bucks to cover insurance charges so that I will have to sign for my package. And if I send a package out I will always use insurance for the same reason. this way nobody can ever accuse me of being a "Scam". That was the worst part of this whole thing, being accused of something that I would never even do.

ATUCK is a tru scammer.. He also scammed me.

When he first joined the board ppl gave him crap on here. I sent him a cple PM's and we chatted here and there and told him to stick around and enjoy CP...than out of the blue he sends me about $100.oo worth of habanos..Very stand up for a new guy.

Alan has proven to be a fair trader,seller and buyer. And I have no problems ever trading with him.

Atuck maybe the M.O. can be canceled.

Don't let the accusations get to you as they are 99% of the time just pure garbage or a distortion of the truth.

Jackski could have handled this situation better and in a more honorable way. I hope he comes around, apologizes, and attempts to make things right. That's the gentlemanly way to handle conflict.

Jackski could have handled this situation better and in a more honorable way. I hope he comes around, apologizes, and attempts to make things right. That's the gentlemanly way to handle conflict.

I think jacksi shot himself in the foot once he resorted to name calling rather than provide proof of shipment.

More and More botls are coming forward with things atuck has done in the past out of being a great botl. Sending bombs out of nowhere not small one either! Damn near getting to spend time with Senior' bubba the butt breaker down in Mexico last week, time and time again it seems atuck has proven himself to be a standup guy.

I've only done a few passes / purchases / trades, but it's a responsibility I take very seriously. IMHO, if someone sends without a DC, it's their risk. If the package doesn't show, they have NO way to prove that it was ever sent, and in my book they are still on the hook for the goods or at least a refund.

I've sent bombs via 1st class USPS without a DC, but in the event one of those got lost the only person out would have been me. To date, I've never had a package lost but I know on rare occasions, it happens.

BBS, very true, except for the one statement in your post that I bolded.

You get a receipt that says you sent something, which I know lists the zip code and price, and probably weight.

Now of course there's a chance you sent an empty box to a bogus address, or that you just happened to have a friend in the same zip code to whom you also sent a package. However, the chances of that happening are slim to none.

Heck, even with DC, you could find some address (look up a business perhaps) in the same zip code as the guy to whom you owe the sticks, and send a letter with DC for under $1, and post the DC# for all to see, and shout from the highest mountaintops that the package was delivered, and that the other guy is a lying pig.

Nothing is fail-safe, but for me the receipt is good proof, which is why I don't usually bother with DC.
