Going a little off the beaten track

First track is a BANGER! Second track - WTF did I just hear/watch 🤪 I feel like whatever track was to follow this on the album better have been one hell of a track with that 8+ min leadup... But strangely, I enjoyed it... HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaAh

Laurie Anderson was the next step in Avant Garde after Patti Smith and Talking Heads. Big Science is considered a ground breaking album. Here is the whole thing well worth at least one listen.

Not sure how I feel about it, it was very interesting. I will need to have a few more listens... Born, Never Asked was my favorite from first listen...

That would be my #2. Walking And Falling does it for me. BTW she has at least a dozen albums out if you want to dig more,

I've been noticing a trend in the top female house DJ's. They all seem to be in their early 30's. have a flat stomach as to wear the bare midriff uniform they all seem to wear and a good portion of them are European or Ukrainian. Case in point:
Miss Monique
Monika Kruse
Charlotte De Witte
Mattn

Of course there are many exceptions too
Anja Schneider is in her 50's and there are a rising number of Asian artist but even some of them stick with the bare midriff as if somehow it enhances the music

Just rambling here.

One of the best rap albums of all time and the writer behind the greatest rap album of all Time "The Chronic" by Dr. Dre
I'll have to take your word on this. I'm pretty diverse but not to this point. Rap music is a contradiction in terms to me and I know that some say it is just the modern version of talking blurs but I disagree. Everybody gets the blues, but only a comparatively small percentage live the life of many Rap songs. . I didn't like it when it started creeping down out of Harlem in '70 and since it meant little to a white middle class kid and adult I still don't like it in general. That is not to say there aren't a few songs I like, the sheer volume of material ensures that but it doesn't do or mean anything for me. I'm sure there are plenty of things I listen to that are the same for others. If you like it fine enjoy - you can have my share.

Just one old white guy's opinion.
