I never saw a pair in the wild, only on TV.Oh but they did! Sadly... We had a mom that sewed them up for us and we actually wore them to school and to Friday Night Lights, which was a teen dance party every weekend... I'm sure someone out there has some embarrassing pics of us all wearing them...

My Grandma made me a couple pairs. I'm sure she was shaking her head, the entire time she was sewing them.
