Viaje Zombie Antidote this morning....I've tried a few of the goofy releases now, and this was the first one to really stand out for me. The core flavors are nice with plenty of earth and coffee, but the spice level was off the charts. I tried a "Jalapeño" last year and it didn't really deliver on the name, but THIS cigar is THE jalapeño. Seriously, from start to finish it's constant pepper like when your eating hot sauce. I personally find that appealing and will seek out more, but if that's not your thing and this one cigar wasn't an outlier, you have been warned.
Since I'm rambling, drive home smoke yesterday was another Quesada 40th Corona Clasica. Nice flavors that keep me interested, but the construction was unbelievably good. Weight, looks, firmness, draw, smoke production, cool burn...and the razor sharp burn line was highlighted by a "stack of dimes" ash that hung on like a champ. Sometimes you just get a cigar so perfectly made you have to mention it.
