Good point - we'll have to scrap September/October/November... Probably December and January (except maybe at the end of January) are bad as well. The beginning of July is bad too...
 
Been along time since you have gone to Vegas CC? It has changed alot just in the last 5-10 years. Top of the class restaurants, and some very good show's. I guess if you stayed at the old end of the strip you'll get your gutter trash, but in the middle its very high class. Then the new end by MGM and NY NY is more casual. Just stay away from Circus Circus that place is scary. :p

Never went to the Elivis shows or Newton shows, but did see Blue Man Group, Penn and Teller and some other very nice shows.

Maybe this year I'll bring the wife to see O. Was it worth it Alex, I know you guys went last time.
 
I enjoyed all the cirque shows.

If you guys want to do a sunday show lets do it.

I was kind of blitzed when we saw "O" so I dont remmber a majority of it..LOL!!
also we might still be able to get tiks.

Mystere was awesome.
And also the new show at the WYNN was alot better than I had imagined.

But that is true.
Vegas is considered one of the gourmet capitals of the world.
Almost every top chef in the world has a place or is opening up a place in Vegas.

I betcha the downtown hotels are cheaper... And they say the odds are MUCH better than on the strip. That's where the locals usually end up.

Although - it would be a longer trip to Casa Fuente if you decided to stay there...

All of which is true, except the part about where the locals go, for me anyway. There are many "locals" casinos now. Many Coast and Stations casinos that are much more convenient for us to go to.

Gregor22 is right..locals stay far away from the strip..higher table limits...driving on the strip...higher table limits...the last 3 times I went on the stip was to smoke with out of town cp BOTL's...

Also GTPHALE and I are getting in on thursday the 25th. Is anyone up for a pre-herf HERF at the MONTE CARLO brewery? It is sort of tradition for me whenever i get into vegas that night I always go to the MC brewery for some beer and cigars. Let me know if anyone is in town already and wants to meet up.
