Springfield area, about four hours southwest of St. Louis.

They'd have to offer to pay me a minimum of other twelve grand a year to get me to take it, and I'm not sure if that'll happen or not. I'll probably end up staying in Vegas.

Hell, I'd stay in Las Vegas if I were you too!! I'm not too big on vacationing in Las Vegas BUT I think it would be a fantastic place to live. Nice, DRY heat, no lousy winters like here in the northeast, etc. From what I understand, it's quite the booming area.

I didn't realize Springfield was so far from St. Louis. :0 You can drive through four or five states in my neck of the woods in four hours.

I do enjoy living here, but for a decent raise, I'd move. Most all my friends and family are in southern MO as well.

I love to hike and love the climate here. If I'm gonna plan on staying here, I guess I should start looking for a car with that fancy air conditionin' feature.

I hear ya!! I can't imagine myself driving around in a car without A/C :0 Avoid cars made before 1994 because they used R12 as a refrigerant and it's almost impossible to find and when you do, they'll charge you hundereds of dollars per pound. Most cars can be converted to run on R134 (which most cars have used since 1994). At idle or while sitting at a stop sign, you may notice a slight decrease in performance of the car's A/C but once you get moving (and the air is blowing over the condenser) it works fine. My 1987 Buick has NOT been converted. The last time I had it charged (three years ago) it cost me $450.00. :0

That reminds me I have a 96 Blazer that the AC work fine in but every summer we need to charge it again. They put the dye in but we cann't fine where it is leaking from.

Any ideas?

PM Sent. Perhaps we should carry on that way and let these boys plan their outing.

That's a pain in the arse. :(

I find that most leaks are caused by degraded o-seals at the hose connections. It's highly unlikely that it's the condenser or the evaporator.

The next time it discharges, try and replace as many o-seals as possible. Be careful when you separate the connections so as not to damage or break any of the tubes. They are usually made from aluminum and bend/break very easily.

I wonder if you gentlemen would kindly take this out of the HERFS forum or at least out of this thread?

Matty,
She told me she only works there Thursdays and Fridays. You may want to call her Thursday afternoon. If you need me to I can drop her a line. And try to light a fire. I am friends with her BOSS. ;)

Sweet.
Just got off the phone with a casino host from Imperial Palace. And she hooked me up with 2 rooms @ players casino rate. Now I have more money to drink, eat and gamble!!

How is everyone elses reservations coming along?

You forgot more to spend at Casa Fuente.

After the herf is over...I will no longer be contributing any longer to cigarpass. Those of you who wish to continue to communicate with me will be able to through email or you have my phone number. I still plan on fully giving my dedicated attention to CP up until The Herf has ran its course. The Herf will go off without a hitch, and for the most part..everything is going like roses. Thank you everyone for your patience. The herf will be a great time.

and I am looking forward to a good time, good smokes, and good fellowship. I hope by the time this is done, you'll have reconsidered your decision. Thanks for your efforts, Matty.

You are putting together a CigarPass Herf but after it's over, you don't want anything to do with the people here? ???

Damn Matty, I hope you will reconsider your decision at some point.
You're a good guy and a great Redskins fan.

If I ever make it out to Vegas, you can be sure I am looking you up.
