Official 2007 Opus X/Anejo Superbowl Pool

I just called Frank to either get the tracking number or what and I got his voice mail. I let him know to get on here and post what's up with a tracking what ever he has. If I don't hear from him in a bit, I'll package up the stogies tonight and express to you....... :thumbs:

The numbers were drawn last night. Big Slim Junior could not be there last night so Angel, a cocktail server at Al's Bar drew the numbers. I gave her 2 stacks of ten playing cards (ace through 10 [10 being 0]) and had her shuffle them. I then had her flip them up one at a time as I wrote down the numbers on a blank grid top to bottom on the left and left to right on the top. I won't know what anyones numbers are until I look at it again and enter the numbers into the matrix. I will do this as soon as I get firm confirmation from Dickson and Frank. I would like to get these sticks ASAP so I can post pictures.

As I stated in the "Good Morning" thread, I have to depart on a TDY trip to take care of some Army stuff and will be leaving in a few minutes and just got on to check my emails and such. I have PMed Swifty and emailed Frank to get this right. I do not have the time today to get to the Post office nor will I till Saturday morning as we are getting back late Friday evening. I want to see this all work out and as a lot of you know, I hate the drama of this place and want everyone to get a long. Hopefully when I get back online Friday evening, this will be all cleared up and we will have a great Superbowl weekend. Enjoy the next couple of days and I'll see you all soon........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Since I have not heard anything from Frank and Charlie can not get to the PO until Saturday I am removing them from the pool and I will take their boxes myself. I am also removing Juan and covering his numbers. Since Juan has at least maintained contact with me if his MO gets here by Saturday I will put him back in.
Had I known that Frank was on the SCUMBAGS AND BAD TRADERS LIST I never would have let him in the pool in the first place! :angry: I appreciate that some of you have offered to take additional numbers, however I don't know of a fair way to give out numbers that have already been posted especially since most of those numbers are pretty crappy. Unfortunately If I host anything like this in the future it looks like I will need to have people post a DC or tracking # first when picking numbers. Lesson learned. Anyway, rant off.

Khris you should not be responsible for all those cigars. Not sending cigars because you don't like the numbers is not acceptable at all! And if Charlie is going to vouch for someone on the scumbag list then he should be responsible for the cigars. I guess we will see what happens when he gets back, but he said for 2 days that he would send the smokes if you didn't hear from Frank.

Let me get a hold of Frank and see what's up. When I talked with him this past weekend , he assured me that he sent of the ten sticks. I'll update as soon as I hear from him......

Yet you leave without sending the sticks. I have no doubt that you will make good on this, but it puts a damper on the whole Superbowl pool.

I just got off the phone with Frank. He also PMed me. He has assured me that he has sent out the sticks today via overnight express. I told him that if the sticks arrived before kickoff that I would put him and Charlie back in the pool. I will believe it when I see it. Once again I will take and post some pics as soon as I get all the sticks in order. hopefully that will be tomorrow.

Juan came through with his MO. No USPS Express Mail yet from Frank. I am working on photos right now. I threw my sticks in for Frank and Charlie's (my new numbers). Frank sent me a list of the sticks he is sending. I matched them stick for stick except for he is sending 3 Fuente Fuente OpusX and I put in 2 PerfectionX and 1 #5. If Franks sticks ever show up I will just keep those for simplicity's sake.
