Came home from a sweet herf at Geoff's place when what do my little eyes see, a return box with an ALASKA ADDRESS?? Hmmm...I wonders.

I slowly and carefully open the box with my trusty knife, and view this:

After cutting and cutting and cutting, I get to this:

I then skillfully remove the core and get this:

Now, here's the maddening part. I take a twist of the Nalgene Bottle errr...I mean, "SUPER BITCHIN' CORE HOUSING UNIT," and it's SOLID AS A ROCK.


Something inside me conjures an image of this:

And I said aloud, "Jim, you fuggin' bastard..." and then quickly resume cutting!

I finally remove the cap, and retrieve the contents:

OK.... when you don't know where the cigar that's in a glass tube is in the "block" it kinda makes it hard. Especially with the gracious amount of chicken wire included inside the concrete. It may not sound tough but I spent many hours chiseling and drilling and I still ended up breaking the tube forcing my "retirement".

Hammering and chipping is so ... well, crude. A nice 14" diamond blade will take care of the chicken wire and the concrete. If we are careful, we ought to be able to salvage the cigars. I only hope they are worth the effort! (You can never tell with the FOGS!)

But, PREEMPTIVE ATTACKS will make the difference! HIT THEM HARD!!

Just got back from the wedding to find a very nice package of smokes and a note from Andrew (Gonz) including a few I've REALLY been wanting to try. This week has taken a toll on me guys, I'm going to rest up tonight and get to bomb making in the mornin' !
