iPass Blues Pass

Very funny. I caught it after I posted and was going to edit, but I am trying not to edit my posts.
LOL... I spelled Fundadore incorrectly too. Sleep depravation does it every time. :sign:
I tried staightening that out in my p/t posts. I'm glad SOMEBODY listened!
Hey, hey, hey ..... I can be a little slow at times :whistling:

I remember reading it too, but it didn't hit me until I went through each cigar and made sure it was on the list and in the pass. The updated pass list I printed has it as #55 now too.

And it did go out today; Scott expect to see it Monday at your office.

DC: 0305 2710 0002 3063 3364

But right after I left the post office I realized I forgot to put the sharpie back in. Oops.
Up to thirty songs already, good thing we are limited to 2 or 3 songs.
I've been cheatin a little ... :whistling: We are just under two CDs right now, not including two songs that were downloaded in .wma format. There are some great songs of all different genres and variations of the Blues; this is great. I am having a little bit of a tough time believing that "The Next Time You See Me" is really the Greatful Dead though. And this is the first time I have heard Kimberly Allison; I need to find some more of that for sure!
That's just the official iPass Collection Vol 1, then there are the "outtakes" that were sent separately for Vol's 2-5.
Outtakes? What outtakes? Are you holding out on us buddy? :angry2: Give it up. Share the love! :D I'd be up for compiling as many outtakes as ppl want. Actually ... I threw in a little outtake collection of my own in the pass. :whistling:

The "Grateful" Dead's earliest music was heavily blues influenced by their frontman Rod "Pigpen" McKernan, whose vocals are featured on that cut. Pigpen was one of the founding members of The Dead, and played keyboards and harmonica with the band. His last show with The Grateful Dead was in 1972, and he died in 1973 from complications brought on by his excessive drinking.

Will be on the look out to recieve Monday. Not to worry on the sharpie, I can take care of it.

So is this when they were the Warlocks? I am having a tough time finding when they declared themselves the Dead. I know their first album wasn't until 1967. But I did find this setlist on dead.net. Very cool!

Yea, the keyboardists for the Dead didn't have very long life spans w/ the band. I remember exactly where I was when Bent Mydland passed away...trying not to follow in his footsteps. ??? ;)

Hey, on a sidenote, if you have the means to convert music from a cassette tape to CD or MP3, I'd send you all my bootleg tapes. I don't think I own a working cassette player anymore and they are just gathering dust. Shoot me a PM.

Hey Guys,

I received a PM from Slowhand that he needs to drop from participating in this pass. Check out the first post for the updated list.

Alright - tunes are figured out. Took some searching, but I'm sticking with these.

Jonny Lang - Cherry Red Wine

Jonny Lang - Rack 'Em Up

Kid Jonny Land & the Big Bang - Smokin'

Just got on a roll when I started listening to all my blues a month ago, and these really stuck.

I also included a little outake disc for some future passing out to all the participants.

Package will get handed off to Greg once I have the OK on P/T

Looks like we need you to fill in the blanks :D. I'm not too sure about the Monte El for the CoRo ... value for value okay but rarity for rarity might be off. Talk to me .... what do you guys think?

I am so bummed about that AOpus X X2 being damaged, I was nervous about it being knocked around inside that coffin. I guess I know what will be the first smokes to be burned when this pass gets back home.

No blanks to fill in - the let me think comment was in regard to my music - and I will pass on the Monte C if its raising brows. No worries... I will get this pass handed over to Greg tomorrow - Tue. Thanks for having me. :)

Holy smokes amigo! well, these work just fine by me ... let's go with them and thank you so much for your generosity.

Thanks, Scott. Cigars currently located in my palatial estate in NW Las Vegas. Hope to get to them this evening.

I'm starting to drool for the cd's already. Thanks again for starting this one. When does the next music pass begin? :whistling:

I would say that pass season is just about over. With warmer weather coming, boxes of cigars don't do so well sitting in the back of a hot postal truck.

Perhaps next fall there could be another pass like this, with a different type of music. I can see it now! "The Country-Western Ipass"

Or I was thinking of starting my very own "Polka Pass"! :sign:
