Don't get into baseball or NASCAR but I loves me some BBQ!! We're throwing a mess 'o ribs on the grill this afternoon. Good eatin'! Was thinking of popping the top on a bottle of Old Pulteney 12 yr today. We'll go see Hancock first though. Have a better one!

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. It looks to be another hot and muggy day today with temps in the upper 80s and possibilty of showers off and on all day. The Yankees are in town tonight starting at 1905 (7:05pm) with Pettitte on the mound against the Tampa Bay Rays. A couple of wins against the 1st place team would definitely tighten things up a bit before the All-Star break. Anyway, I hope everyone has a super day and enjoys a favorite cigar or two......... :)

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day. Well, Andy Pettitte allowed just four hits over eight scoreless innings last night helping the Yanks blank the first-place Rays, 5-0, yeah baby. Today, Sidney Ponson will start on the mound at 1305 (1:05pm) with hopefully the same results as last night. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and gets to enjoy a favorite or two as well......... :)

Oh yeah, the coffee is on!!!!!!

Morning folks. An early and long day....I hope yours is better.

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is definitely on. It was great to watch the Yankees take another win from the 1st pace team (Tampa Bay Rays) in that nail bitting fashion. Bobby Abreu ripped a walk-off double with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning while Derek Jeter made it home safely from first base to give a 2 - 1 victory. Today the Yanks have a make ip game in Pittsburg which will start at 1905 (7:05pm) and then they are off to Toronto for the weekend. Well, it looks like it will be a nice day weather wise with with temps in the mid 80s and the humidity is nice and low. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoy.......... :)

Good morning all and TGIF!!!!! I've got a pot of El Pico Espresso going right now and it will definitely get me started. It looks like it will be a nice weekend both weather wise and sports wise as well. Baseball, NASCAR, bbq, Olympic trials and cigars, life is grand. I hope everyone has a super weekend and get to enjoy a number of your favorites....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Stephen (fivebyfifty), it was a play on words as we BBQ out nearly everyday and invatations don't normally get sent out :D . It was a great day yesterday except that the Yankees lost their 2nd in a row which hopefully will turn around today. Anyway, I hope everyone has a super Saturday and enjoy a few of your favorites........ :)

Good morning all and as always, the coffee is on. Just got back from Jones's farm with freshly made apple cider doughnuts and apricot and rasberry tortes:

Well, it was good to see the Yankees rebound nicely with a win making today's match up the rubber game. A-Rod hit his 537th homer passing Mickey Mantle to be the 13th all time home rn hitter. On a sad not, Yankee great Bobby Murcer died yesterday at the age of 62. Bobby was fighting brain cancer and it was a tough battle. RIP Bobby, you will not be forgotten.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys a favorite or two or.......... :)

Mornin' Stogieman,

I'm enjoying a pot of freshly ground and brewed CP Coffee and about to light a Hemingway out on the back porch. Sad news about Bobby Murcer, a true gentleman of the Game who never has gotten his due IMHO. MLB will probably never see the likes of him again.

Have a good day!

Good mornin' all and yes, the coffee is on. It was a great day yesterday weather wise as it was last night for Justin Morneau. Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Well, I have some reallly good news to tell you all. I didn't want to post anything till we got the results back. They found a lump in one of Beth's breast and after a byopsy that she had last Friday, the results came back benign. Outstanding results!!!! She's been feeling really bad about it for the past month and now we can get back to our normal life or at least a normal routine. So tonight being Thursday and all, we're going to Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars and have dinner and afterwards I'll enjoy a primo ceegar. If your in the area and you have the time, stop on by and join us. If not, I hope you enjoy a fine cigar or two as well......... :)

Good morning all and yes, the El Pico espresso is already gone. Got a few errends to run and then off to the big family get together / graduation party for one of our nieces that just finished college. There's quite a bit of sports on today to include Yankees Baseball at 1300 (1pm), Nascar truck and car racing, boxing, etc. Should be a day filled with great food, family & friends, cool drinks and of course tastey cigars. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it as well....... :)

Good morning all, the coffee is on and I'll probably make a nice stack of rasberry pancakes along with some crispy bacon and a few slices of fried scrapple. It was good to see the Yankees win yesterday even though it took Jose Molina to take one for the team with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 12th inning and get hit by a pitch. They are back at today at 1300 (1pm) with Pettitte on the mound. I hope you all have a great day and enjoy few of your favorites on the Super Sunday....... :)
