BOTL's in Arms Pass

Having never tried a shotgun with a pistol grip I can't say if I would like it or not. However, I think using one for skeet would throw off your natural stance and swing. With a conventional grip your hands and arms are somewhat parallel to the gun giving you a natural point in line with the bore. With a pistol grip, your trigger hand is now almost perpendicular to the bore and your arm is lower and at an angle. I think this stance would affect the natural point and swing.

But, having never tried it, what do I know. Have to try one some time.

It may be just me, but it seems to give me an easier range of motion when leading the target.

Even though I have not tried the pistol grip, I really feel comfortable with the standard stock, even in a tactical setup.

I guess it is a matter of getting used to something different. I have no problem with my AK and AR, but I don't swing these like a shotgun when skeet shooting.

Like I said before, I guess I'll have to try one and see.

Glad to see it made it there. If it comes back does that mean I get to keep it? :whistling:

I just gave Jake the story via PM...

The postal folks here don't actually attempt delivery on my route. They just drop a notice in my box among the gang of boxes at the bottom of the hill. I have the notice in hand and I'll be picking up the pass this afternoon/evening on my way home from work.

Dear Brett,

Thank you for the wonderful cigars. You don't know how much I enjoy smoking while delivering the mail! the ISOMs were a wonderful addition. You shouldn't have.

Your mail carrier,

Chuck

Anybody have an AR 15 build that they'd like to share. I am looking for photos and parts list. I need a winter project.

I'm not involved in this pass, but here a picture from my collection for your enjoyment.
