BOTL's in Arms Pass

Due to unforseen circumstances, I must drop out of the pass. My father has been ill for some time now and has taken a turn for the worst. I will be spending time with him and making sure my mother is holding up as well. Still have to work and look after my wife and boys so there will not be any time for the pass.

My appologies to the group for droping out at the last minute. Hopefully, I will be able to participate in future passes.

That's a badass gun! I bet that's a lot of fun to shoot.

Anybody have an AR 15 build that they'd like to share. I am looking for photos and parts list. I need a winter project.

Bump.

Wish I had cash to pay for assembled one. To change this a little to see if we can get some discussion: Anyone have suggestion on building on a budget? the cheapest or best path to ownership in the era of Obama.

I'd be interested to know this as well if anyone has any pointers!

Fellas, building an AR is no simple task. You have to know quite a bit about fitting all the parts, general gunsmithing, etc. With all that it takes to build one you might as well just buy one. I was looking into building one at one time, but you can't save that much. Unless you build a cheap one, but to build a good one you don't save much.
Just my $0.02

Good luck in finding any parts to build one. There are basically no parts on the market right now. If you can find any the price has gone way up.

My local B& M won't even try to order Hi cap mags for me. Just blew me off.

I have heard building doesn't save money. I just thoguht it might be easier slipping it through piece by piece. Too many obligations to family like most.
