I'm back from Vacation and have a new pack of white owls grape to add in the pass.

PUTS-


35. Perdomo La Tradicion Figurado- I've never liked anything I've had from Perdomo. A lot of people talk about how much they like them but I could never get excited about them. Not awful but not special in my mind. I'm sure the Perdomo Edicion De Silvio is pretty good but I've never had one.

36. La Gloria Cubana Wavell Maduro- I've had this cigar recommended to me a few times, and it's not bad, but not too special either.

37. la Aurora Robusto Maduro- I actually like these and think they are good for the price. I thought this would be a perfect trade for the natural I took. I've never tried the natural before.

38. CAO Black Bengal- Many people seem to be fond of CAO Blacks. They used to be hard for me to find and I was really hyped up to try it when I finally found one. I was a bit disappointed. It's pretty good but a tad bitter for my tastes.


I don't consider any of my puts to be totally bad, I would feel bad passing a cigar I really didn't like.


If these sound O.K. to you guys I'll ship the pass tomorrow. Ready BGarv3?

Good, we don't want dog rockets. Just cigars that were recommended for X reason and you don't like them as well as the recommendation. That Puros Indos you took got a 91 rating ... but I don't particularly care for it. But if it got a 91, I figure there are a bunch of other people that like it.

But those are just fine, maybe even more than what the takes retailed for. I did think it is kind of funny that you are taking almost the same cigar that you are putting: Take #26, Put #37... just trying a different wrapper?

Send away. I feel bad for BGarv3's co-workers having to tolerate a diaper for the next three days. :blush:

Hey DevilsMilk, If it's there when I get the pass, I'll leave it for you. Toranos always unwrap on me. I was gifted a couple from Torano and smoked them last weekend while camping. One of them actually cracked up the middle while I was smoking it.

Edit to add; BTW I think they still taste great, just poor construction.

Phone call from home says the pass has landed safe and sound. I will go over the inventory and do a final put/take last as soon as I get there. I may not get this out until late tomorrow as I am out of town this very moment on a contract job and hoping to finish tonight but I really am working with a bunch of fresh out of school boneheads here.

The box/tupper has been popped open and added to the coolidor (68 degrees and 65%) because the GF felt it was a little too warm(I think she likes my stogies but refuses to admit it) to just leave in my office(it is 92 in the PGH area).

39) H.Upmann H2000 Corona Larga: This is really a great cigar that I still use as a goto smoke. I used it as a put(I know I needed a put that I dont like or smoke on a reg basis) only because I cant seem to locate anything else that I can complain about .

40) A.Fuente Chateau Fuente - When I bought these I was looking for a great taste and smaller smoke. This stick gave both but after a few I only wished they were longer so I am on a mission to find something clsoe to these in taste and price but with a longer smoke time.

41) V.S.O.P. Churchill - This smoke was my favorite for the longest time when I began with cigars. I bought a bundle recently from the local shop only to find that my taste have matured(yeah mature, me, that made me laugh). Seriously, I guess, I have just grown out of these and into the more complex sticks.

42) Hoyo - Bundle Churchill - This is an extra put, the guy at the local shop thought it would be funny to gift me a "Cuban Sandwich" one day a few weeks ago. This was a VERY bad joke. The stick seriously tasted like a dog turd wrapped in poison oak or something. A few days later I go in and he asked about it, I explained that after two hours of drinking bleach to get the taste out I would never forgive him . He then talked about a new "cheapy" he was going to pick up and asked if I would mind trying them out....he gifted me a bundle of these. I have to admit, it is a really nice cheap smoke, one I use when working on job sites, having to set a stick down and go back 20 minutes later takes alot from the taste so these are perfect for that. This is not a stick I would smoke over a nice drink or even at home just relaxing but it is great for those quick smokes where you want full flavor a but may have to toss it out or even relight a few times over a coupole hours.(Nice wooded peppery flavor starts mellow then gets FULL bodied)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST:

During the inventory I located 2 mislabels. #31 and 33 were reversed and #33 was NOT on the list above. I relabeled as the pass list in the box indicates, please update the online list as follows:

Don't scare off all the wild life!! Heavy Metal (alternative, not butt rock) is pretty much my mainstay these days. My wife is getting really tired of it. So, she has been making me listen to Country. OUCH!!
