I do too but hate licorice, go figure. Have you ever tried the Alberti Stregga Sambuca? Difficult to find these days but let me tell you, if you can get your hands on some and fire up with a strong cigar this is the Sambuca you want. It's hot down the throat and just exquisite. It's the Lagavulin of Sambucas.

Baby backs, cooked outside. Made a tent for three hours then opened up for the grand finale. No special rub, just S&P and yellow mustard. Yes, they fell off da bone. Me sitting outside at 92° cooked my ole ass too but it was worth it. Homemade potato salad, squash, tomatoes, three different fruits made for a hearty meal.
