Best track off this album IMO...
Can't argue with that.Best track off this album IMO...
When CD burners first became a thing, the very first mix CD I ever made had "Changes" on it. Haven't heard that song in years.I guess we going down this path on TBT...
I am going to have to take a dive into this band... I love this one!!!PROG FRIDAY
Van der Graaf Generator
This band was formed in 1967 out of Manchester England and was the first band signed by the Famous Charisma Label later that year.
never really popular in their home country they did better in Europe. Their 4th album Pawn Hearts was a hit there but didn't chart in the UK. After breaking up the first time in 1972 they reformed a number of times all the way into the 2000's. A lyricly dark band for it's day it was heavy on thr organ like ELP or PFM, they had a following of early King Crimson fans due to Fripp's involvement on 2 of their albums which is how and why I found them.
Reminds me of The Doors. I am personally not a Doors fan. Lots of people are, they just never did it for me out side of Riders on the storm. I'd switch songs if it was up to me.PROG FRIDAY

First thing I thought was, this is The Doors with David Bowie as lead... Speaking of that mindfuck...Reminds me of The Doors. I am personally not a Doors fan. Lots of people are, they just never did it for me out side of Riders on the storm. I'd switch songs if it was up to me.
I always thought it was Jim that made me turn off the songs. But David didn't sound good either....LOL. Maybe it was the band?First thing I thought was, this is The Doors with David Bowie as lead... Speaking of that mindfuck...
