Stevie Nicks w/ Don Henley

Took the wife to see Stevie on The Gold Dust tour. It was a sellout crowd even though it was a Monday night and overall not a bad show. Both Don and Stevie did 90 minute sets making for a decent show. Don pretty much did a greatest hits going back to Witchy Woman, Hotel California, Dirty Laundry, Hotel California (with Stevie), Boys of Summer and closing with Desperado.

Stevie had been doing shows for over 35 years by this point, she even opened for Hendrix in another band plus the whole Fleetwood Mac craze so what you got was a very refined and somewhat scripted show. A fairly short 90 minute set for the lead act that covered the album with some Mac and other solo stuff. Rhiannon, Stop Draggin My Heart Around,(with Don), Stand Back and more kept the crowd satisfied ending with So You Want to be a Rock N' Roll Star (with Don) which I had never heard her do before..

MMM - This one is not very wordy as it pertains to the verses, it is really about the pre-chorus that I have been thinking about for a while. I have been tinkering with the idea of using 1 thru 4 idea, where I used the numbers 1,2,3,4 for the beginning of the lines, but using the word variants in line 2 and 4 as a double entendre. Let me know what you think...
