What music are you listening to currently?

I've been getting into some new stuff, namely Vulfpeck. Its a jam band / funk sound out of Michigan that started up in 2011. These two videos are good examples of their style.

Doc I've been listening to a band of feral hippies from up around your area, Parsonsfield. Pretty good stuff.

Starting this morning off with Jethro Tull live at MSG. I gotta be in a certain mood to enjoy most of their stuff, but when I'm in that mood it is tough to beat.

Trying to see if I was in any of the crowd scenes......Nope

Don't know if this link points to the whole album or just the first song.

Was it the Bursting Out concert?
I think I have that on Vinyl.
The one that was broadcast live in '78. I thought I remember you saying you were at this concert for some reason a while back? Or maybe I dreamed it.

Yea, I went to a lot of Tull concerts at MSG, up until about 80 when I moved out of the city. I forget how many, details, But know I was at Bursting Out in 78 because of the BIG Balloons. I forget a lot about those daze. ;)

Minor Threat, DOA, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Battalion of Saints, Cromags. It was a hardcore kind of day, and since the songs are all 1:08 long you sure can get a lot of albums in.

What's the reason for all of the 68 seconds long songs?

Checking out this band's Youtube channel.
A lot of "Chicago" Covers. Pretty darn tight.

I haven't heard of them before but got intrigued by your post so I looked them up. Pretty good stuff, thanks for the tip.
They put out, I think, three albums. Giddens broke up the band to pursue a solo career. That stuff is worth checking out. She's a very talented musician. She sings like a canary; plays banjo, fiddle and cello.

CT ain't exactly my area. I checked them out. Not so bad for a bunch of Northern boys. However, evidently, the original name for the band was a racial epithet they had no clue about. What a bunch of geniuses.
