What beer did you drink today?

Had a bottle of Oaked Arrogant Bastard last night.

The finish was very different from the original and it wanted to be drank very fast. I'm curious to know how it compares to pouring off the tap.

Also working on a few 6 packs of Great Lakes - Elliot Ness
 
Just finished my growler of KRBC Citra. I stopped in at the brewery on Saturday to get some, and had a Chock-a-mo Porter as well as their Rye Ale. All very good, but the Chock-a-mo was a great tasting porter. Better than a lot Ive had.

Saving the second Citra growler for Mas_Puro's tasting on Saturday. :thumbs:

I made the 2.5 hour drive to Kern to get that beer my friend. I wish I lived closer!!!! Its so worth it though.
 
St Bernardus Abt 12 Belgian Abbey Ale. Given to me by a coworker and not the type of beer I would typically reach for. However this one is pretty good. Has a different profile than I'm used to. No bright floral notes like an IPA and no dark savory notes like a stout. Enjoyable, though.

That's one of the best beers on earth as far as I'm concerned.
 
Had some good beers Saturday at a DFH tapping event at a bar in Dallas. Got there late and missed out on the Bitches Brew though...

Ahh...Bitches Brew...a favorite of mine...but from the large format bottles you can' beat Jiahu.
 
Sipping on a Smelly Sell Brewering Baltic Porter that is very tasty. Nice big dark fruit and cocoa flavors and excellent mouthfeel. Nice work, Justin!

I am gonna have to open my only bottle of Limited Release Smelly Sell Brewering Baltic Porter this weekend :whistling: :rolleyes:

Watch out it will put a hurtin' on you. I drank the whole bomber in about 2 hours and was d-runk by the end of that bad boy. Thing must be around 12% or more...care to give an accurate ABV Justin?
 
Rochefort 10 tonight. This is my all time favorite beer, hands down, no contest. I wish my local could keep more in stock. It went very well with my Padron Family Reserve #44 Maduro.
 
Enjoyed a bottle of Nugget Nectar last night. Thanks to Mike and Jfields for the beer, it was quite excellent!
