Today's Smoke II

I had a fantastic Templar Unbanded Skull and Bones by Don Vincete, I'm sad he went out of business :( He made some amazing smokes!

I have been meaning to smoke either my first Opus or first Anejo. Today, the Anejo won out and it was a beauty! A 2006 #77 Shark fell victim to the flame today and if these smokes are consistently that good I am going to be buying more.

Last night I took the torch to the foot of a Davidoff Puro d'Or Declicioso. Quite a decent smoke. I really enjoyed it while outside grilling some porck chops for dinner. Much different than anything I have tasted in the Davidoff line before.

Smoked an Aurora 1495 Series BME Ecuador Sumo Toro last night. While better than the Dominicana, it was still a dog rocket IMHO. Visually the cigar is stunning, slow burning and everything you physically want to see in a cigar. It just tastes like crap.

Tonight while watching my Lakers lose to the Celtics I smoked a Quesada Serie Limitada 35th Anniversary (Toro). Ash floweresed at first but the remained solid. Everything went downhill when the ash hit the second band. Getting the banks off near the head destroyed the wrapper. Ruined the experience.
