The Jonesy Pretty Penny Pass

Let 'er roll, baby!

And no worries on the PUTs, Brian. I recently scored some Vainilla Montecristo Salomones EL 2008.

Wilkey

Good deal Wilkey! I just hope no one takes them out before the pass gets back home!
You guys are so funny you should be on the stage....FIRST STAGE OUTA HERE

Brian

There are still a few of you that haven't posted the number of cigars that you think will be donated for Preembargo to send off to MX, so get your guesses in before next Monday.

That would be my lazy ass. I'll take 47.

All guesses are in for the donation contest.....may the best man win!

Infinity (Brian #1) has graciously donated winnings for three contests during the pass. We have one set, the picture caption contest Charlie provided, and two more to come up with. I'll have one at each portion of the pass so the next contest will be announced somtime in the next week after Gator receives the pass. Thanks so much Brian for your generosity during the pass!

Way to go Brian & Brian! Nice moves from both of you.

Due to me not being quite prepared enough, the pass will head to Gator either Wednesday aftenoon or Thursday morning. I had some things come up at work and at home and I'd rather delay it a few days then to rush it out the door. So Frank, it should be in your possesion by Saturday at the latest!

Good grief ..... let's get going already!

Since this is my 1st pass, i have some questions as i don't wanna screw up. Does it have to be a cigar for cigar value, or can it be the total, ie may take 4, put back 5? Is it ok to value a cigar at what you paid for it, within reason?

Frank, the basic rule is equal for equal or better (put). If you trade 3 for 3 and want to include extra sticks after your trade, that's fine. Brian has the rules posted on page 1 with one exception Brian says...
Equal for equal:
With this being a high end pass, I will let the NC's for ISOM's or vice versa go. I realize that there are some sticks in the pass that are hard to trade for because of value, so have at it guys.

This is where discretion will have to be used. IMO, trading NC for ISOM or visa versa, is not always easy.

Brian,

Good point Infinity!!! Frank just post your P/T to the sharks  , rough crowd here.. ???

I can't wait to get this pass in the air!!

Brian,

This thing is ready to fly. I'll send it out to Frank tomorrow afternoon after I wake up (on night shift tonight). Now to address my noobiness in hosting a pass. Brian has brought up a valid point that I really didn't think about while setting this up. I am going to change the free for all trading back to a standard ISOM for ISOM and NC for NC protocol. I assumed with the value of the cigars in this pass, that a cigar for cigar trade, regardless of origin, would work. Obviously some NC for ISOM trades could get a little lopsided because of the ISOMS being cheaper to come by albeit not as readily available. I apologize for jumping back and forth on a few things and the slight delay. Hopefully this won't cause a problem for anyone and actually make it a little easier.

anyone got any sizes and values for the regional release habanos, and the .RyJ Exhibicion No.2 EL '00, i can't seem to find any info on them.

Brian.

Good move IMO!

Frank, PM the host before you post if you are unsure about your trades.

Brian

There has been another pleasant surprise to this pass.... NorcalMark has pm'ed me letting me know that he has quite a few cigars in his possesion that he will be donating to the pass to go on into the cigars for the troops box at the end of the pass. Thanks so much for your generosity Mark!

Brian

Yeah, i plan on that being that's it's my 1st pass, and you bunch of friggin wolves would tear me to shreds for one little mistake

another question (didn't see the answer in the rules, and i'm asking them 'out loud' as other participants may have the same questions): Are duplicates ok, ie if there is already a Siglo 4, can i put a Sig 4, there would now be two. Also, if one of my puts was to be a 1986 Bolivar NC, what value would you consider it, ie how do you assign a value to really sticks?
