The GAS Pass 2009

I dunno if I'll be in NC anymore for Jonesy to hand off to me (or be in the right order to even do the pass) anymore by the time it gets to me... I quit my job yesterday! WooWoo!! Huge weight lifted!!!

Awesome! Move to the ATL! We can herf and then hand off the pass with Khari. Don't worry about work for now, just get south.
 
Wow...didn't think it would get to me so quickly. I talk to my wife yesterday and she said a huge box was delivered.

I'm in San Antonio visiting burned Soldiers and amputees at Brooks Army Medical Center, but I fly back today.

I'll get home...do all my pass duties and get it back out tomorrow pending readiness of the next passer.

Sorry so short, on my phone in a car heading to the airport.

There could not be a better reason to hold up a pass. I do not mind one bit -- take your time.
 
Overall inspection/corrections:

- Box is in good condition but it did have a few cuts on it see here. I just taped them up, but keep an eye on this.

- Inventory checks out, all appears good (fixed some numbering issues, see below)

- Humidification is good, nothing added at this stop

- Packaging is good, nothing added or changed at this stop

- On the USB list, the number 50 was listed twice...I fixed this error and it now matches the list on the thread.

- On the USB list, fixed the ESG Robusto to reflect 21 Year Salute rather than 20 Year Salute

- On the USB list, fixed #40 to reflect Take: USPS (to match the online list)

- On the individual cigar baggies, there were two #50's. I've created new single storage baggies for #50 - #56 to match the online list and the updated USB. There are no longer 2X's #50s.

I have repacked the box and am prepared to seal and send tomorrow. I will not seal up until then, so if there are any questions concerns that need to be addressed please let me know and I'll attend to them.

Other than that, I know Brent's ready, so this bad boy will be flying again tomorrow.

My pleasure. Great organization and work on the entire pass. I was very impressed when I opened the box. Probably the best cared for pass I've seen.
 
Alright, here are my preliminary puts/takes. I may adjust these after the box arrives and I get a good look at some of these sticks. Please be kind.

All look solid to me Brent. Those LFD Outlaw 2008s are figgin' awesome.
 
I have no experience with the Outlaw blends only by being gifted one from Jonesy a while back so I'll ask are they considered a HTF and always a acceptable trade for Opus/Anejo? Just looking for info.

This particular custom blend is made exclusively for the Outlaw. Dirick or Brad can correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I believe there were only 40 boxes(24 ct.) of this particular blend made. They sell for a retail price of $11 each.

I will let the pass host and the pass members determine their rarity in scale to Opus and Anejo. If you guys feel they don't match up that's fine, just let me know soon enough to reconsider my puts/takes.

I didn't think you were. I wasn't a 100% if that put/take was acceptable and just wanted to put the info about that particular LFD out there for everyone to consider. Also there were 50 boxes made, not 40.
 
Knowing how rare the Outlaw blend is...and how damn good it is.....my 2 cents is that it outweighs the Opus X.

Of course that's just one guys opinion, but there it is.
