I'm alive brothers. Had some kind of serious bug that put me totally down for like 4 days. The the G-F got it so I have been taking care of here and here out of control 5 year old Son. So sorry for being away, I was just hung up in some life stuff. You all know how that goes sometimes. So I'm here and what ever you decide is fine with me. I could actually over it with Jim and kill two birds with on stone if you prefer. But I'm alive and I do appreciate the concern from my fellow brothers her at CP.

Not much, only a few pounds. it was a "box rate" for having a light box that was fairly large (Though that was probably the smallest pass box I've ever shipped). :angry:

If your post office is anything like ours, the level of service, rigid enforcement (or overenforcement) of rules, rates, and general pleasantness is tremendously variable depending on which clerk you happen to draw.

I love the post office in Plano...the guys/gals are nice and they don't overcharge or make a fuss. That pass was the least expensive package of it's size I've ever mailed...I'm sure the guy hooked me up on the price. The lower price may also be the fact that CS is only a few hours away and it didn't need to be put on a plane.

Mark, no worries brother. I'm not worried over a few extra shipping bucks, I accepted that I would pay whatever it cost to ship the pass when I joined up....I just couldn't believe it when I was rung up at the PO.

Funny that you mentioned the price, I took it to a local USPS also and the number I got was about 3x what I paid for on the internet at usps.com. And obviously they took it.

Gentlemen, this is the type of stuff that needs to be avoided. With the technology of tracking numbers we can get a pretty good idea of when the package will arrive. Now im not expecting anyone by any mean's to sit home and wait for this package, but this box just took a 4 day trip only to sit in the PO for 2 more day's. In the future, if you cannot be around for the package, please ask to be moved back in the pass or opt out of the pass. I do not know the situations that came up here, for all I know Mark could have ran to the store for 2 mins and missed the package... but I hope to get this pass back in the mail tomorrow, with P/T's or not...

Brian, this is a little excessive, IMO. I understand you want your pass to move fast, but we're talking only a difference in 1 business day and Step and Mark both have to do P/T's and hand off, which saves it another few days from being in the mail. Situations arise in passes, and by no means is 1 or 2 days late an issue that requires scrutiny. Calm down a little, sit back, and have fun with the pass. Then, go watch some Star Wars.

Jake, this is something I never mentioned in the first pass, and although it may look like it was directed towards mark, I have been in contact with him, and he and I have an understanding with why he has been unresponsive as of late. I just wanted to put this out there because I have not done it yet. Not meant as scrutiny (I hope no one take's it this way)... I got spoiled with the last pass because it went so smooth, but I suppose passes run into these types of situations..

Thanks for the feedback Jake and by no mean's was I trying to blast Mark or anyone else here. I have the utmost respect for each of you.

Gary, your right... Been really stressed with work. I apologize if the msg above offended anyone.. Please do not take offense to it...


The bright side... At least the pass is going and all the participants have been awesome.. Cant wait to see what everyone else does... The "Big Herf" will be incredible and is almost set in stone.

THE RANGERS ARE UP 2-0 AND PLAY AT THE GARDEN TONIGHT !!!
