Exactly. I urge people to never compare two cigars if they're not comparing them at the same source. Don't go to CI to check the price on a put, then go to Holt's to check the price on the take. I like to check the prices of both the puts and the takes at several different sources to see on avg. how they compare. Or, when possible, use a verified msrp. Msrp is like a constant, the manufacturer sets it and it has nothing to do with tobacco taxes. Here at CP we have three very good and accurate threads that list msrp for Fuente, Padron and Tatuaje.

Put: RP connecticut ($4) these are my goto smoke, this batch is always good draw, nice and mild with a little flavor and nice smoke, a no brainer for when I want to just chill. I got these on special so the put may be a little high but I paid $2 a piece for 20

Take: #42 La Flor de Cano ($3)
Put: Padron londres maduro ($3) I love these, quick smoke and always consistent

Take: Partagas Naturales Maduro ($3)
Put: La Cabana panatella 7x38 sumatra wrapper, binder and filler Nicaragua ($3.75)



I'll be adding a couple more probably but snow's calling and the bridges and streets won't plow/sand themselves. Who say's the fireman are the heroes ;) without us they can't even get out of the driveway :laugh:

Merry Christmas everyone, I received a special gift today. The doorbell rang and it was a box of cigars!!!!! Oh wait I don't get to keep them all ;) The box is super cold so I'm going to let it warm up before opening. I don't want to have the sudden change in temp hurt the cigars. I'll inventory and etc later tonight.

Are the P/T's I've proposed so far acceptable to all?
 
merry christmas, guys. I'm writing in from my cell phone as the inlaws are here - best to not be antisocial. Anyhow, all but the first look good. Other comments?
 
Everything looks good, sticks in good shape, inventory good. I'm going to update it all on computer and pirnt it out.
Not sure what I'm missing on the first take, can someone give me some help with it please. The look up on top25cigar looked even but that doesn't mean I didn't look it up wrong even the 2nd time.
 
Just a quick update...
Make sure you guys review my P/T's, Marco and I PM'd about the first one. I can swap my put out with a La Cabana panatella that was $3.75 if that's a better price swap.

I have plenty of room in the clockidor right now so I put all the pass in there until it ships, hopefully tomorrow if all goes well and everybody approves the trades.
 
Updated post #157 for P/T's, I know everyone's still doing the holiday thing but I can have this out either tomorrrow or Monday as long as everyone's had a look at the P/T's.
 
Well I guess I am next? I am ready whenever everyone else is. Are the put and takes current on the first page?
 
Good to go. This set of p/t's is exactly what the pass was set up for - an opportunity to try new and novel sticks in a low-risk environment. The puts throw even more novel cigars in the mix. Well done.

Good to hear it. It's always a little harder than expected, but you did great and did a lot of p/t's. All the other participants appreciate it I'm sure.
 
PS. Could you give me a numbered list of puts so I can add them to the master list? Reviews are always nice too, both for p/t assistance and also for future reference.

Numbers added to the P/T list. I'm pretty sure I got the numbers right. There's a typed one in the pass with the other sheet. I may be off by one number in which case we're at #76 not #75 and they are all off by one. When Breedy gets it if he could verify my #'s that would be awesome! I forgot to make a copy of it and save it to my computer.
