This pass will be for the new guys, myself included, who are looking to participate in the CigarPass spirit. The purpose of this pass is to go through the drill of what a cigar pass is all about, receiving, packing, mailing, puts and takes.

Yeah, the last time I checked this pass was for people to learn about cigar passes while having a good time participating in one. I appologize to Garretbuckeye for over stepping my place on the board trying to impart a little knowledge to the others here. It seems he was offended by me speaking my mind. You know, a wise man once posted, "Read more, post less". Perhaps I should have done that instead. ???

WTF? ??? I'm confused. I'm missing something here. I tried to go back and see where this came from, can't find it, and I can only guess that it was in a PM? But if I remember correctly, you were specifically asked for your input on this pass.

Experienced members On board Are emodx, hojadepuro and ggiese to help guide this pass along.

And while you are not the host of the pass, you have been asked for guidance and assistance. Are you yankin my chain Emo?

Garrett it might be wise for you to explain what you posted, as there are many eyes watching this pass. Inquiring minds and all.....

okay, let me try explain a little.

i posted that originally out of two things... frustration and beer balls. i had a few beers, decided to log on and look around and shouldn't have. i was frustrated that everytime i check back in, it seems there's another post about some "unwritten rule" or something to think about. I pm'd an apology and told him how i felt really excited at first, and now i'm just scared i'm going to mess a pass up. the last thing i want to do is to go against proper ettiquette. unfortunately, that's exactly what i did with an aggressive, disrespectful, and uncalled-for post like the one i left.

so i decided to remove it, knowing full well it was in his reply. i'm not trying to hide or be chicken-sh#t... but thought i'd remove it for emodx. i thought this would be a respectful thing, not something that made me look like i was trying to hide. then i get a message telling me that removing what i posted wasn't the way to go about it. i understand that now, but i'm not going to go back again and repost what i originally posted. if it makes me look bad, so be it... i'm sorry. my thought's are to move on.

i was also advised to "man-up" and apologize. maybe i should have left my apology for everyone to see, but an apology was sent. i know i screwed up. cp is a great place with a bunch of great people. the last thing i want to do is to offend anyone. even though i had a few beers, i'm not trying to blame it on anything but me running my mouth. alcohol doesn't put stupid thoughts in your head, it just lifts the brakes on them. i was an @ss, and i hope you all can look past this.

John this is a great question, I have not been able to make up my mind on it yet.

lets say from May/3 today with an end date of June/3, four weeks should be plenty of time.

I applaud Lee for coming out and explaining himself. The point Emo brought up was a valid one, but I think the reaction was that it was something stated in during the pass and not before. But like Emo said, he's here to impart his wisdom and knowledge of a pass to help us out in any way he can and has done so. My thinking is that whatever help he brings to the table, be it before, during or after the pass should be taken as someone who's been there before giving us his guidance since this is our first pass. So, thank you Emodx,Hojadepuro,and Ggeisse for helping us with this because it is appreciated guys!

Just spring picks

BBQ, flowers,blossoms anything that has to do with spring time even a good sunset works. This will open up a wider range of photos.

I will post some pics Sunday, after I get out a take a few. I'm just trying to get people out and see Mother nature at work.

All to often we forget about a nice walk, the parks and nature as we try to provide for our families.
