I got the confirmation email early this week, and just checked the tracking info- and the box with the final candidates of cigars for the pass are out for delivery today :) so I should have them sometime today :D :thumbs:

Well the sticks arrived the other NIGHT! The courier finally brought them to my house at about 9pm! I couldn't believe it. I by chance, checked the tracking number Friday AM, it said the package was out for delivery- I called the courier to verbally confirm this, since my wife wanted to shop, but I wanted to make sure I was here to get the package. They confirmed by voice- it was out for delivery. By 3pm I didn't get it, so I called back when they assured me it would be here by 6pm, so when 6:15pm rolled around I called back- they told me again because of the holidays they're behind schedule, but it would be here before 8pm- but they were going to contact the driver to confirm this, and call me back within an hour. so by 7:20pm I called them back again (still no package at this point), when I got an operator on the phone, who told me its very unlikely it will be delivered tonight since its so late already. I got pretty upset on the phone explaining I was assured it was going to be delivered today more than once, which is why I waited for it in the first place (all day long). She called the driver with me on hold this time, and sure enough he was still out on routes delivering packages- and finally dropped it off to me just before 9pm! SHOCKING.... This was the latest courier package I think I've ever received- EVER.

It's Christmas time. I want to see you deliver 170 packages in a day. Thank god it's over. Glad you got them.

Yeah, but don't defend them Triple_D... This was the DHL guy! Not the FedEx guy! :p FedEx would have been on time! :D :p

Oh and the clearify- when I said "latest", I meant latest time in the day. I did feel sorry for the guy still being out and on the job passed 8pm... Whoa!

I have also posted this information on the first page- because I hate when I'm in a pass, trying to find the pass order in the shuffle of the following pages. :)

Here is the starting lineup of cigars and the current pass order as I see it- If anyone has any comments, questions, or needs to have their order changed- Now is the time to speak up. The cigars are bagged, numbered and ready to be shipped out. I'm finishing up the touches on the rest of it. I don't see any reason for delays- the pass should go out within the week (I'm shooting for Monday Jan 5, 2004). As soon as I finish all the little extra things- I will let everyone know. ARE YOU ALL READY!?
