Puff Puff Pass v2.0 (all ISOM pass)

One day I will be cool enough to join a pss like this one. Untill then you guys enjoy. Sounds great and good luck.

I wasnot saying ask people for their source, All I suggested was that people be sure they gotnon counterfit ISOMs, there are plenty out there.

Jim

Yep, I have seen a lot of people who think they are smoking "real" ISOM's. Turns out they werent I felt like SUCH an ASS when I had to break the news. Guy had been buying from this source for 5 years or some stupid # like that. WOW I couldnt believe it! Good fakes, but not good enough.

This is one of the reasons I'm asking for opinions from the regulars... All the people who will be in this thing are all going to know each other, and/or have trading history with each other... Thats why the input is needed.

I'm sorry I misunderstood the original post. However with that being said- I agree with the sentiment that people who are going to put need to know what they are putting is authentic, and not glass topped fauxiba's....

You know after reading my post I should put in that I have never recieved a fake from anyone here and I find that it would be highly unlikely. Just wanted to ad that.

All my top shelf counterfit **** comes from sleepyjim!!!

LOL!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding Jim!!!

Not an endorsement for fakes!!!

I bought some fake cubans once, I knew they were fake when I bought them- but I have to admit they were very good cigars.... Maybe cuban? just fake bands????

I've got friends that have been over there, and they say you get fake branded cuban cigars in cuba!!! :0 These guys roll there own or buy the crappy cheaper stuff and put Cohiba bands on 'em and stuff.... hehehe... A fauxiba in havanna! :) You gotta love it!

That's because you like the big honking cigars. I had a RyJ churchill size that was pretty damn good.

I'm really only down on those RyJ Churchills 'cause I've have two and they were both so hard to draw on, I had to toss them. I didn't own a poker at the time. Hopefully I just got unlucky twice.

As far as number of people in the pass, I'm a fan of the smaller ones, 8 - 15 people. This way it doesn't hang around for 6 to 9 months and by the time it gets to the last guy, he doesn't have to take out a home equity load to pay the shipping :D

I think he posted that shipping would be by second day means. So you could have his baby back home fast.

Its not that I want it home fast (alright I do-but...) its more so the cigars dont get stuck around the country in the heat.... and dry out--- ALRIGHT! Its so I get 'em back fast! :) :D

The players line up currently looks like this... (this is by order of post- actual playing order TBA)

1. lucasbuck UT
2. STYX&STONED OH
3. emodx FL
4. cigah_smoka FL
5. Horse (TX a local to me) ? (though he didn't specifically say he wanted in? you in/out?)
6. vewyphishy TX
7. coventrycat86 CT
8. sleepyjim GA
9. Phil CA
10. kurtcigar1 OH
(did I miss anyone?) Also, those without your address in profile, pm me address info, etc.

Now, based on suggestions here, our list is getting pretty full, so we might be able to get a couple more guys in, so if you're interested speak up- so we can finalise the list of players and move on to stocking the box... Anybody care about which number they are? or are we gonna do this thing geographical? (I know this has been discussed in other threads... just wanted to be nice and ask anyway)

I'm going to max out the box with no more than 25 sticks to start, that way more people will be able to play- and we'll have different sizes, brands, etc... standard stuff... Since the box is not leaving the country- I really don't see any need to remove the bands from the cigars- I doubt very seriously anyone will ever want to open our box.

Sound good to everyone so far? The only thing I may need are these Climaxx beads I keep hearing about- Are these the hydroponics crystals you can get at Michaels, Hobby lobby or a Florist shop? Or are they something specific to cigars?

Great job Toaster!!

I would recommend organizing the order on a goegraphical basis and feel free to put Connecticut anywhere in the order you like but here's a suggestion:

1. PHIL
2. lucasbuck UT
3. styx&stoned OH
4. kurtcigar1 OH
5. coventrycat86 CT
6. cigah_smoka FL
7. emodx FL
8. sleepyjim GA
9. vewyphishy TX
10. horse TX
11. home to you in TX

Can you tell I have too much time on my hands jolly :D

Okay, I gotta give it a rest for a while and get back to working on putting that engine back in my truck.........

I don't think you'll have a problem domestically, cause who's gonna open the box ??(but us). Non-banded cigars should be allowed, cause most of us here traded for them or ordered them from out of the country, or received them as a gift from someone. I had some companies send me the original bands, but it costs money for that. If they do have their own bands (i.e. El Dente or something else) , We should be required to write the box code and date on the bands or make your own. ( I know how, so if there's any questions PM me.) That should be fine. Also everyone should know the characteristics of a real cuban cigar, if you don't, then you shouldn't be in the pass cause you obviously never had a real one!! Just some thoughts.

I am going to be out of town until Feb. 1. Just a thought, but I am going to be in Miami the 6th and 7th for the Miami Herf. I know you are going to be sending the box towards the end of January so if I was first, I could do a personal handoff. We take pictures of our puts and takes, the Herf, get them developed in 1 day and put them in the pass. Just a thought.

Can I play too? Banded cigars should not be a problem in an all ISOM pass. As per Cigah_smokah, no one will open it but the pass members. Will you allow cigars from cabs?

Everyone listed to be in the pass is over 21? right? :D
(this is a serious question)

1) I am in 100% agreement with Bill's proposed lineup :D

2) I will vouch for Smokozuna. He is the best of the best. i.e. - put him in!

3) I just turned 21..................in 1985 :sign:
