I just got mine. He did a great job packing the cigar. Even came with a two finger Cohiba cigar caddy. As for the looks of the cigar it very nice. Now I've ony smoked one havana before so I cann't tell. So far so good. I should be able to put light to it this weekend.

Just got mine the same way when I got home from work. Thanks for the free stick. I have no experience with you except this .. so nice play in my book. I will be sure to post my opinion for what its worth. Thanks again for the FREE stick!!!

I too received the package the same way. Classy.

I am not an expert in ISOMs but it looks pretty good. I can post a side by side photo with a regular PSD4 if anyone in the know could make any sense from it.

Vitasea, thanks for the cigar. Since I was not part of your previous exploits you're OK to me. I'll post a review when I smoke it.

let the fun begin.......:)

its really amazing don't get me wrong i think all you guys are great the olde's trying to protect the newbes a great comunity (newbie's probably most are multi zillionares)

i know it would happen it!!!!!

Got one here as well. Gonna let it sit for a short time before started to evaluate it.

I just got mine...alos in the two finger holder. I have a couple of genuine PSD#4's so I will take the time to properly assess it and smoke it and then tell you what I think. I am a newbie to this board but I'm no newbie to cigars or Cuban's. So thank you for the free stick, Vitasea, and I'll let you all know how it was after I smoke it this weekend.

As for all the guys who have had bad experiences with him before...this is cool that he is trying to make up for it. Just hope that more of the old guys bot one to give their opinion. We'll see... :whistling:

??? You're a weird dude Vitasea.

Someone smoke one allready damn!
.... sorry don't mean to be rude, I just hate being kept in suspence.

OK...they're FAKE. The band doesn't even come close to the real thing. After my last post I put the "Vitasea Cuban" next to a real PSD#4 and the band is very different. Not the same width or type font and the letter color is too glimmery and punched in too hard. The length is also too long. The ring gauge is ok though. But...IT'S FAKE!!! I don't even need to smoke it tell you that! Vitasea...you suck. Don't ever post on this forum again!!!

-Fetter ;)

Also...they don't smell cuban. A good sniff at the foot could tell you that right away. But I gotta tell you...the construction looks flawless.

please just throw it away ok, and crush up the leather case so it was never in your position , or better yet give it to someone who has an open mind.

you know that is the story of my whole life and you picked it up in a heart beat what do you charge for conciling???

Got mine today. Packed well; wrapped in plastic wrap, in the nice little Monte two-gar holder. Boxed with lots of packing. So, up front, it's here and in fine shape.

I won't even pretend to be an expert, but the gar has two bands on it; haven't seen that before on a Partagas but given my limited experience with ISOM's....who knows? I'll post pics tomorrow (too damn busy tonight - wife glaring at me already.... :D ) and let you guys know how it smokes but I have to say my "initial impression" is that it looks and smells very good.....

Thanks for the smoke, Vitasea - I will for sure do some chatting with local guys I know and I'll post pics / my thoughts this weekend, for sure.

...your gesture was a nice one. My $00.02 is that if you want to repair some past bad will, my advice would be to let the gars do the talking and lay off the "snappy comebacks".... :whistling:

This has got to be THE most entertaining thread on this board yet (in my short experience). Bravo guys, well done!!!

Maybe some of you won't get the subtle nuances of this great comedy and for you I feel sorry.

Vitsea...

I hope the packaging doesnt' have PartIgas on it :sign: I'm looking forward to sampling one

Hey...I gotta say "Sorry" for the open bashing. But the fact of the matter is that it is not real. Free cigar, though. Thanks for the experience of looking at a fake Cuban. I've never seen one. So I guess there was something good that came out of all this  . Vitasea, I gotta hand it you, your persistence is a good quality. Keep it up and figure out how to contact people with the "Real Thing".

-Fetter

PS. Vitasea...it's not that I have a closed mind. Just having an open mind to "Pretend" they are Cuban's won't make them any more real. ;)

i took 6 partagas out of there boxes and all five with the red band measure about 18mm they are the serie d reserva, serie d #4,part p #2,part p #2 edition limtad( a new cigar to be released later this year) and serie d #1 le, the sixth cigar is the lusitania which has its on special band. i believe they changed the lable a year or so ago and you may have a older cigar you are comparing it to. or maybe yours is the fake. reportadlly 95% of all cuban cigars sold u s are fakes. i am not trying to be insulting just trying to get the facts stright. i am sure there are other members who have some recent partagas in there humidor that could quickly varify the band size???

all edition limitad and in this case reserva have a secound band on the cigar
the same sticker only larger is on the box cover diagionally under the habanos sticker. its another way to spot fakes as both the box and cigar band will be the same. you'll have to remove band as you smoke it because the two bands take up 1/3 of the cigar...:)
