NEWBIE WAR OF 08': VICTORY!

Been checking this thread out for a couple days. I am really curious to what are actually in these boxes cause i have no idea. I'm building my arsenal for next year's war.

You're assuming that this war will be over by then. The FOGs are too stubborn to admit they're beaten and the noobs are too tenacious to give up the fight.
 
I've been hit with return fire! Head down! Brandon damn near blew apart my entire front porch when I went out to the mailbox this morning still groggy and half asleep.

He hit me HARD. It will be difficult to recover and rebuild my bunker after this :/

I don't want acknowledgement for the bombs I send. I don't want to offer that acknowledgement is bad - far from it. The first few times for me, I felt a rush when I read the thanks. For many, its part of the payment for the act, and sometimes its the recipient that needs to offer acknowledgement. It still comes back to the question of why you bombed in the first place. Was it about you, or about your target? Are you bombing for the attention, to kiss up to someone, or perhaps to "buy the stairway"? If you're new here, and you see an opportunity to fulfill the wish of a long time member or just to do something nice, don't be afraid to bomb. If the bomb is about you, well, we all like free cigars.

Just something to remember as we continue in this campaign. No need to post the number of bombs you sent out, no need to "goad" older members into bombing you. Several members fighting with us can attest to the fact that in last year's war, they sent out XX number of bombs, and were never bombed in return.

It's the thought that counts, and it's the gesture. You're not here trying to get "uber-bombed" at the end of this thing, you're here because you love CP and wanna bomb FOGs back to the stone age when they were born. If you take issue with this, PM me by all means.

I've been crazy busy with work, away from home 4 days a week and what not, so I've lost track a bit on this....but then billbaker hammers me today.

I'd like to take this time to apologize for not fufilling my previous responsibilities to this war.

Things have popped up in my life that just don't alow me the time & or energy to devote to such an awesome endeavour. I'm sorry to all the noobs that joined with me, i'm sorry to the FOG's and most of all to Jonathan.

I was all gun-ho about this at first but just don't have the time for it anymore due to a bunch of latest happenings in my life......
