Newbie Pass 101

Yes, 10 sticks. 2 Anejos, 2 Opus, 2 Double Chateau Sungrown, 2 Double Chateau Naturals, 2 Hemmingway Classics.... Boxed Set.

Edit to add "Boxed Set"

I purchased the same set. I just used Vitola's for pricing on all of the items.

Vitola's has the Perfection X listed as $13.00.

I guess I'm a little confused about Vitolas. Is the $13.00 price the 1998 price, then add the $1.50 that it says it has escalated. Or, is the $13.00 the current price?

Thanks.

That's what I've been led to believe as well. I can't quote the "Xs", but the vitola pricing matched up on the latest shipment of Power Rangers, Fuente Fuentes, and Super Belicose's at one of the local B&Ms yesterday.

Glad to hear it all got there in good shape.

Your put/take list looks good to me. That My Father is a great cigar and possible my favorite size for this blend, enjoy.

I heard there is bad weather approaching , I think you boys ought to send the basket of heaven back east.

Just saying.

Yeah, snow, cold , no heat, have to burn them all to stay warm and survive. I hear that!

I'm glad you're in my corner.

You could just pass up everyone in the middle states and send the pass to the West Coast. It's a little rainy here, but no snow...LOL

Whoa, whoa, whoa! That's a caution sign on page one NOT a detour! LOL!

Your P/T's look fine to me. When doing research on the El Cobre I ran across a pretty humorous review. This was the best part:

"At about ¾ of the cigar I start to feel light headed, like I drank too much wine in a short period of time. This cigar is beating me, it’s too strong for me. I felt like Michael Spinks in a fight with Mike Tyson (Spinks was the reigning champion in the light heavyweight champion who had the idea that he could beat Tyson back in 1988, “the fight of the champions” lasted 91 seconds). I try to take control and keep on smoking, but like a fish on a line, I know I will lose the fight anyway. This cigar got me and it got me good."

Good luck, my friend. We're all pulling for you!

Looks good, and don't get any ideas about holding it an extra couple couple of days because of "snow". Everybody knows that stuff doesn't exist except in movies...

Just waiting for Jake's OK. Then on the road to MrAnderson.

Looking forward to firing it up. Think I'll let it rest a few days, it may have jet lag. Or, maybe I'll save it for the Friday night meeting of the Indiana Cigar Project. Either way, it should rest with one eye open....'cause the end is near! :p
