I think some people got the wrong impression on my "adivce". As I have said before, but will reiterate, when this pass started the 1926's were not readily available and hard to find. It was this reason I even gave her the cigar for her pass to begin with. It is still a hard cigar to find, if you take into account original releases. Since the pass has started though it is the season and a rush of 1926 have hit the market, which in some people's mind has de-valued the 1926 in the pass. It has also come to my attention that some people have become upset over my advice, for which I do apologize for but from my personal chats with a couple of people no one was overly bent that wasn't directly involved - which means I am not worrying about it.
It has also came to my attention now by 2 sources that the 1926 has become damaged during the pass, which of course devalues it even more. So at this point I am "letting go" of it. Next person who wants it just take it and don't worry about getting it approved. I have never been considered "stingy" with my cigars in a pass or a trade before and I am sure not going to become that now, despite what I realize a couple of you may feel.
In the future I would ask that if you have a problem with making a win-win trade in or out of a pass, with me or anyone else, talk to the person, find out the facts and how they value a particular cigar. After all that is the point of sharing, trading and collecting cigars - what are they worth to the individuals in question.
Anyway I am really stepping away from this pass now even under an advisory role since some people have gotten upset over my small involvment. My apologies to those who felt I overstepped my bounds or made this pass a little less than perfect. From what I have seen, this has been one of the best passes I have seen and would hate to mar that in any way.
Until later, happy smoking,
Sam
