It's easier to keep track of for everyone, I think, when we don't have to go back through 3 pages of posts to figure out what's in the box. And more fun!

Besides, everyone knows what they're doing, and when to ask if they don't. Not like we're going to need a week of lead time to hash out anyone's puts and takes! ;)

If we're gonna go 4-5 people ahead we might as well make this a Virtual Pass and just send each other the sticks after all is said and done. Part of the fun of a pass is having all those sticks laid out in front of you. :p

Is it normal for a package to go from Houston to Tulsa, OK, just to come back down to Dallas?

I just checked the tracking number and its in Tulsa as of 12:05 AM this morning.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but if they had gone straight up 75 they would have driven straight through Dallas. I am assuming they flew it to Tulsa, but that still doesn't make much sense.

I suppose the inner workings of USPS will never make too much sense to me. :blush:

If hypothetically they were driving the thing around they decided to go 848 miles/14 hours and 30 minutes vs 188 miles/3 hours 9 minutes.

Maybe someone at USPS should rethink where they locate the hubs huh?

No doubts at all about you putting the right address on there brother, just thought it was funny the U.S. tour this package will end up getting when it could've traveled straight up with relative ease. And even more humorous now that beyondtheband has reminded me they are in financial troubles! :laugh: :laugh: I'm really looking forward to it's arrival! :thumbs:
 
It sounds about right w/ the shipping to Tulsa and back. If i want to send a letter from Midland to Odessa (15 mile difference to anyone who doesn't know), the letter will travel to Santa Fe , NM and back. Its a weird system.
 
I can mail a USPS Priority bomb to NYC or SoCal on a Saturday morning and have it arrive there Monday afternoon . . . but a first class letter to Houston, three hours drive from me, can take up to a week to deliver.

I'll never figure it out. ???

Arrived safe and sound, this is a damn thing of beauty! :thumbs:

I've taken all of the cigars out and am inspecting them all. I'll do my T/P's, update the list, pack it back up and it'll be on it's way tomorrow!
 
Alright gents, I thought I had another CAO box press but apparently I have smoke all of them.. :blush:

For this blunder of mine I still took the Camacho, but I put in the PAN Principe.

Hopefully this is okay, if so I'll have this packed up and ready to be on its way tomorrow.

Everything looked good, cigars were in good shape, and box was as well. I threw in a couple of more sleeves of bubble wrap just because I had 'em.

Let me know about the Principe for the Camacho and if there aren't any problems this will be on its way to Dustin tomorrow! :thumbs:
