Looking forward to seeing some pics of the progress... FYI, which I am sure you know that metal fencing will be ate up by the salt, especially where post go into decking...

Thanks for the heads up! Sounds like a good coat of Rust-oleum will be included in the process.

We did that when we bought our house. If you’re into that kind of thing (I am), it was a very interesting project to watch!

Last night, sitting around the fire, coyotes went nuts. Sounded like 20 of them 30 yards away. It was probably more like three or four 200 yards away.

Our oven started acting up by not reaching temperature. There was a schematic on the back of the oven, so out came the trusty Fluke meter. After much testing, I decided to replace the main relay board, and PRESTO, our oven is fixed! I probably saved us $500 by doing it myself!

Afterwards, this was the conversation:

me: “You know, with all of the stuff I fix around here and all of the money I save us, I think I should buy a whole bunch of cigars out of our joint account.”

wife: “DO WHAT???”

I knew right then that the battle was lost…

I took my daughter and one of friends to an AJR concert lastnight. They had a blast and I was thoroughly entertained!

The circus is coming to town! The house spotless right now…..it won’t be by their tomorrow morning departure. And I love it!
