Good Morning S / BOTL

Good morning all and yes it's the day after Christmas. Now we have New Years to get ready for and that is just as much fun. The coffee is on and all sorts of left overs are available for breakfast / brunch. I have to be in the office ealy this morning (0630) relieving yesterday's Staff Duty Officer but after that I'm sure it will be dead as the Cadets won't be back till the 2nd. Anway, hope all of you have a great week and enjoy......... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Morning all and yes, the coffee is on. It's already Wednesday (Hump Day) and before we know it, the weekend will be here. Not sure what's up for tonight but a few of us are plannin' on stoppin' over at Schlesingers tommorrow afternoon for a pre-New Years smoke and the boss is joining us. I know that the lounge is normally opened up at 1630 but like last week, they opened up early. I'll give them a call today and get the low down and post it so all of the local S/BOTL have the times as well. Anyway, hope all of you have a great Hump Day and enjoy....... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning everyone and I hope your final work day of 2006 is a smooth one. Going into the office today which I know will be a skeleton crew. I've got a great pot of joe on (Killer Beans :D ) and I'll probably stop by the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) for some good Army chow this morning as well. I wish all of you a safe and prosperous New Years and a humidor filled with fine cigars........ :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning all and yes it's back to normal with the coffee just finished perking. We had one helava weekend and it will be nice to get back to the normal day to day operations again. This will definitely will be a short week considering it's already hump day and it's the 1st day back to work. Hope all of you have a good one and enjoy it as well.......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Oh well, I'll have to get some afterwards cause there is no way I'm gonna make it threw the day on no caffine. Back in the day both the Navy and the Corps had what was called SLB (Saved Leave Balance) which you save up to 180 days and use that to retire early. Also, unlike now when you only get base pay for cashing in your leave when you reenlist, you could cash SLB leave for full pay and allowances. Pay, Q, rats and VHA etc etc.

Oh, and a good morning to you all too.

Afterwards around 7, a couple of us are headin' over to the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) for some good Army chow and I hope that they got the SOS right this morning. I agree, TGIF. I was up at 4:44, showered and shaved, checking a few posts, and about to head out to work. Hope at the CP'ers out there have a nice weekend.....

Mornin' all. Yeah AVB, we can save up "Terminal Leave" that allows you to leave early. I'll be using about 22 days of that.

Have a good weekend guys, smoke something you've been neglecting :)
