Getting your feet wet Pass II

Here are my proposed T/P's

T: 27) Diamond Crown Maximus #3 Pyramid P: 95) Gurkha Titan
T: 46) Padron 1926 Serie #2 maduro P: 96) Partagas 160 Robusto
T: 58) Kaui Momona Light P: 97) Cohiba VX 749
T: 68) Illusione 888 P: 98) Perdomo ESV '91 Epicure
T: 90) Oliva V Special Figurado P: 99) Hemingway Classic Maduro
T: 91) AF Anejo #48M P: 100) Padilla 1932 Robusto

Lets see how these look to the masses

Editted to make easier to understander
Here's my take on your P/T's. To me they all look good dollar wise, but I'm not going to allow the Padilla for the Anejo trade. If you want a Opus, Anejo, Hemi, the you will need to put in a like cigar (one of the 3 brands I just mentioned) or a higher end brand like Padron, VSG, or DCM. You're good on value, but I can't let a pedestrian cigar, so to speak, be traded for a limited release cigar.

Brian

Funny you should say that Brian, I thought the same thing...but not here in the Pass. While cruising CP, the Padilla 1932 seems to be held in high regard around here and after doing a little research and finally smoking one...your description pretty much hit the nail on the head as far as my impression too....expensive but nothing special.

This isn't a commentary on the P/T scenario as you guys are far more adept at guaging it than I am, but more of a taste thing. I've had several 1932 Churchills, and took another from this pass, and have been blown away by them. Granted we are talking about the Robusto here but have you guys had the Churchill and still feel kind of blah about it or was it the Robusto specifically? Just curious.

I actually like the Padilla '32 line (the only ones I like), my comment was in reference to the higher volume of cigars and the lack of them being able to keep up in a rarity value to the anejo.

Here's my entry for the contest Gary..... He has 7 tattoos including a full Japanese sleeve on his left arm and weighs 221.

Did I win??

So, are you saying I shouldn't mail the prize package until SD flies out to NC and conducts an Official Investigation? :whistling:

I recommend starting at the local tattoo joint and gym...or maybe he should start at the local "Bath House!"

All I know is, something smells....

Ha: Well this rocks!

Thank you Jonesy for not getting an extra tattoo while you were out-of-town.

With regards to the collusion concerns, I have not met Jonesy, I just have met quite a few folks from Gastonia, NC.

Don't the coverups bring the total to nine, or is the lens on the camera I have hidden in your bathroom in need of a cleaning?

Well, if you're counting the number of times I've been inked (not including total sitting for the sleeve) the total would come to 10 so I guess you do need to clean that lens...it's probably cracked though from seeing me. With the sleeve, I've had 8 - 5 hour sittings

Package arrived on porch this morning and all cigars are present and accounted for. There is however, some damage to 93) Anejo # 50 chipped foot and 1/8 split in wrapper.

Other than that I recharge the pillows and replaced a pen. I can have this turned around within the hour if I get the all clear.

Thanks for letting me play

Brandon

Thanks for the update on the Anejo....with that small of a split and a chipped foot, it should still be ok. Thanks for the quick turnaround and for playing along Brandon!

Alright package has left on its journey to Cincinnati, should land on Wednesday I would imagine.

Wow that means I'm up soon. I'd better get cracking on some P/T's. :0

I did not see the damage when I put it in but I will replace it with something if needed. I could send it to next in line so they can replace it and cremate the damaged smoke. I have a Anejo #46 I could use to replace it.
