If you don't already use Firefox, I highly endorse it.

Because I used Internet Explorer a few times to go to some sites, I now have a bunch of virus's, spyware, trojans, adware, keycorders, etc on my computer. I am being forced to format my entire harddrive yet again, for the 3rd time in 2004! All because I used Internet Explorer. I have firefox installed on my other systems, and those computers are fine and unaffected. You may not be able to uninstall IE, but you sure can use something better. Firefox even offers tabbed browsing, come on Microsoft, you guys don't even offer that yet! Firefox is the most secure browser out there, and it's free.

Just dl'd it last week and I have to say it's pretty good!

Firefox as well as any of the Mozilla browsers are great. You will have no more problems with popups and all that crap. I think it was Moki that said "Surfing with IE is like surfing with a gun to your head" So true :angry:
 
Thank you Rod. I've been having probs with my cable modem, or so I thought.....

FF just screams compared my IE install......

Now if I could just get rid of ME......a real P OS
 
Unfortunately if you remove IE, you won't be able to use windows. :angry:
 
I'm bumping this topic again. If you haven't already installed FireFox, I highly encourage you to.

The new CigarPass design and been coded for Mozilla/Firefox. IE poses too many problems and does not keep with standards.

And if you click the Support or Extensions, (I forget which, it was nearly overwhelming), you will find add-ons that were generated by other users that will do anything except walk the dog. :D

And I think they're working on that one!! :laugh:
 
I've been using Firefox for a while now and I love it . I also like their answer to Outlook called Thunderbird. I hear both are far more secure and stable than Microsoft.
 
I love firefox. It's great! Make it your default browser, so Internet Explorer never comes up! ;)
 
I also dig Safari, but lately FF is taking over as my default. It's up to 1.01 I believe now, the update was just relased the other day. I've been a supporter of Mozilla based browsers ever since I got involved with them. Extentensions are awesome, themes are great, it 'just works', unlike clunky, old IE. I'm sure M$ will somehow take credit for the Mozilla framework when they release the newest IE in a few months, I hear a rumor they're totally revamping it to use one of the frameworks from Mozilla. Rumor. Not sure how true that is....

On a side note, if you like firefox, try Thunderbird, it's a pretty damn nice email program/news reader.
 
Ahh...an extension to an open source project...nothing is more pure but inevidably bugged and error prone.

I like Firefox, I would never dload skins/extensions...

Edit: Actually Seizure that is probally a very usefull plugin, too bad it's not compatible with Firefox 1.0 :(
