Don't tell me I drag this on when I haven't replied to the last X posts.
Honest to god answer: I'm an honest guy and that's that. When you guys told me how things are done, I replied with a final 'I have no problems with that', and YOU kept carrying it on. Take a look at the whole thing and check out how many times I either ended it or stopped replying. After so much BS here, I had to defend myself a bit because it would never stop. How many off the wall oddball things can be said about a man before he gets angry? How much of anything here actually had a splinter of factual basis behind it? I don't even have to defend myself on some internet forum, because it doesn't mean a damn thing, but I just wanted to make it clear that I'm not here to 'scam' anyone. Before I started getting attacked by this community of conformity, I had planned on just being a member and not selling, and I don't care!
But then it just kept going and going, and not by my own accord. I asked for it to stop many, many times. Why can't anyone let it go? I hope you all have better things to do than sit here with scrunched brows and force someone into a grave who simply started with an act of generosity. Really, that's all it was. Once I found out that I didn't like the rules, what does that matter to me?
Believe me, I understand the idea of looking out for each other on a forum. I'm not used to this. Where I sell my photo gear on a forum, I usually sell items of $1000+/ea. at a time. The buyer Paypals the money, and once that is received, I ship it out! I mean, these are people that will paypal you $1000 immediately for you to ship out the next day, and not some skewed COD stuff. This isn't normal to me. If someone will send X$$$ for camera equipment before the item is sent (like everything else in the world), why not here for much less money or for a couple cigars? Do we get burned by scammers? Nope, and these are large, large sums of money, some well over $10,000. It's about being smart, not making assumptions.
But like I said, I don't care and it doesn't bother me.
When every forum member gets fueled on the gasoline of one initial person's misconception, it's easy as hell for someone to get barraged from all angles and begin to have to start defending. Just ONE person starts with some assinine internet-babble, and all of a sudden I have everyone on my back without warrant.
You got what you wanted, even if for the wrong reasons. I'm outta here, alright?
But for whatever it's worth, between god and I and whatever is in between, I'm an honest guy.
...and I don't know one thief who would spend time to write this after they've already blown their cover.
Please, for your own sake and mine, don't waste any more time here. We all have better things to do, better people to see, and most importantly, better cigars to smoke.
