Quad State Herf II @ Schlesingers Cigar Bar

Earlier today I spoke with Ian (tobaccoleaf1) who is the owner of Billboardtobacco.com down in New Smyrna Beach, Florida (about 15 minutes south of Daytona). I discussed the herf with him and he has know problem sponsoring the event / helping out the "Cause". I know a lot of you S/BOTL deal with Ian and he definitely has some nice deals to offer on all sorts of great sticks......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Well S/BOTL, we are less than 3 weeks out and now have 60 guests signed up which is our cut-off. Take a look on the initial post and if you are on the guest list and can not make it, please let us know so we can make room for others. If your name is not on the list and would like to attend, send me an email / PM and I can put you on a standby list and let you know something asap........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Hmmm....I may be in NYC during the weekend of this event. Will know later this week and I hope to be on that standby list. I just need some help/directions on getting there from midtown.

Find out which train Dave is taking up from Grand Central to Croton Harmon (he is arriving at 12:30 pm) and you can ride the rest of the way with us if you want.

Metro North linky

There are two trains that seem to be appropriate. The others are a bit late and a little bit too early. I plan to get on the one that departs at 11:20 AM and arrives at 12:28 PM.

arrive: Croton-Harmon
arrive by: 1:00 PM

Let's clarify this lest I be branded a flame thief, Tone-NY left his lighter behind at the last herf, I am merely it's temporary care taker...... :thumbs:

Hey Sam (Strayvector), if you can catch the same train with Dave and make it up here to the event with Ralph (ilcchef2) and your coming all the way from Arizona, your welcome to be a guest and no need to be on any stand-by list by no means......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Awesome! Thank you and I should know by Tuesday night this coming week if I'll be there or not. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
 
If a slot opens, the stars align and I can get a day or three of leave I'll see if I can attend. I am supposed to be in DC the following monday, so maybe I can drive up to NY, hang out for a couple days and drive back to DC.

I'm gonna wait for a couple of day and let the S/BOTL verify that they can or cannot attend that are undecided and then I'll let you know something right away. Your the first on the standby list brother which is a good thing......... :) :thumbs: :cool:
