Quad State Herf II @ Schlesingers Cigar Bar

I will be in the area but I am tied up until late. How late do you guys think you will be there??? I won't be free till around 7:00 pm and you all may be gone by then. :(

As Sean (BigMacFU) stated, we'll be there till the wee hours of the night...... :D

Outstanding!!! Put me down... I will be there around 7:30 with my designated driver....

We wouldn't eat, but will enjoy some good cigars, some good company and fine beverages!!!
Great, look forward to meeting you, be sure to bring some FdB's to trade!

I may be able to make this one. Might even tow the wife along LOL!

Sounds great Larry. I just posted the herf over on your site "eherf". Don't be a stranger over here and drop in now and then........ :)

Well S/BOTL, today I got a nice email from JimD (the owner of The Tobacco Shop of Hartford and a true brother of the leaf) saying that he is supporting our Herf with a very nice box of cigars. What's cool about it is I didn't even send him a letter asking him to support the event since he helped out with the most recent herf along with Gary (grateful1). This is what it's all about being a member of CigarPass, the number 1 cigar board on the net. Thanks again Jim and I hope you can make it to the Herf........ :)

Well, after some serious consideration.....

I'm gonna plan to go. However, I need a ride!!!! Can anyone help this carless fellow out?

edit - I might be coming with a surprise too!!!!

JimD is one of the best!!

That reminds me, I've got to take a walk over there for lunch sometime if the temperature ever gets over 30 anytime soon.....

Oh I forgot, I'm in Nova Scotia.

I was gonna say Bill, that would have been a long walk in the 30s...... :D

and Dave, it's good to see that you decided to attend. I'm sure that you can find a ride. :)

Bill who are you hiding from?

Gary you can try to make it in an hour when I am not in the car.

JimD thanks for the support on the Herf! Look forward to seeing you there.

You could catch a train out of the city and get to Beacon which is just over the river. There may even be a ferry you could take to get to the "right" side of the Hudson. That is how I made it to one of the LI herfs.

Thanks for the info  , I'd hate to swim across the Hudson. I heard it's cold up there. :D

Actually you should ask that ever popular question, "What would Jesus do?" I bet he would just walk right across to hang out with a bunch of sinners, among whom I am chief.

Won't I miss the herf if I wait too long? ;)

And if I'm pretty sure the first thing Jesus would do is turn all the water around him into fine ports. It's gonna be a long and enjoyable night. :)

Hey Dave, If you can get yourself up to Croton Harmon train station, on the Hudson line by 1pm I can get you the rest of the way up to New Windsor....we can drive over the river....on a bridge....in my car....

Alright, just an update, I've got CigarDan in my car and two of my friends, that should fill us up. If somebody drops out of my car I'll make sure to update things in case anybody needs a ride.

And we've got a great box of Monte 5x5's up for raffle with all proceeds going to the Twin Tower Orphan Fund, the sponsor will definitely be revealed at the Herf!!!
