That's what happens when you log in and check the "Don't add me to the active user's list" box which you must have done the session you logged in when you made the post that I asked about.

Yep, that is Anon surfing, as apposed to Anon Posting, which thankfully is no longer an issue here.

I must say in defense of anyone who does this (not that it needs defending mind you) that this can be totally unintentional. I spent almost a month stuck in that mode, no matter how many times I tried to be in the On-Line list. I ended up removing all cookies created by this site, then rebooted and came back to CP making sure not to check that box. Then and ONLY then did I become, before that, I wasn't. ???

As an aside, I know a couple guys near Newaygo (northern MI, in the rifle zone) that hunt using a pair AR-15's even though one has a remington 700 BDL and the other has a a 7400. They always tell me how accurate the colt's are... Now an SKS is a cheap gun, so I don't expect that comparison hold up.
