First attempt at Chicken Pot Pies. Really tasty! Learned a lot and made the appropriate notes on the recipe. This had a pie crust button and puff pastry top. Next time I’m going to try puff pastry on top of a large soup crock and I also want try filling one pie crust and just fold it over and seal the edges.

Snow ice cream.
This is amazing! At deer camp this year one of the guys said he was making "snow ice cream" We all laughed because he can be a little "Grizzly Adams" ...... but it was awesome! It was snow, condensed milk, and a few drops of vanilla extract. It was windy and my grandson gathered the snow, it contained a few hemlock needles.:)

Nothing quite like hemlock needles to ease the pain.

That all looks amazing!

Thanks. I jacked the bagel dough up by not greasing the bowl that the dough rose in. Didn’t rise and I had to jack with it, finally rose but wasn’t the same. They tasted pretty damn good, will have to pay attention next time. I’ve made these a dozen times, first time I forgot a step. Oh well. Those mistakes taste just as good as the ones done right.
