How is that one? I like Peter's work with J Giles but never bought any of his solo stuff.

Bluegrass, Country, Blues. I like it. "Love Stinks" done as a Bluegrass tune is a hoot.

I've been rolling around listening to the Drive-by Truckers and Jason Isbell recently. I have always been a fan of well crafted lyrics and these guys have nailed it...not really my sweet spot as to the music itself but I appreciate their unique qualities.

Moving a little slow this morning so I thought a kick-start would help

You got me digging through my stack of J Geils and I found a 7 inch promo of their version of Where Did Our Love Go - the old Supreme's hit. 1976 - mono on one side stereo on the other

I guess Ray has set the Tone for the Day, or TFD as we might say.

I think Stevie Ray Vaughan has elicited more "Damn that was good!", from me, than any other artist I can think of.

Joe Satriani - Joe Satriani
Storyville - A Piece Of Your Soul
Ian Moore - Live From Austin

Daily dose of pseudo-satan.

I can't stop listening to Ghost's new single "Square Hammer". They are a gimmick band bringing back 70's-esque theater. All their past releases have been great. I saw them twice in Germany, and their shows are incredible. Think bands like Black Sabbath -- they don't exactly practice what they preach. I wish the lyrics weren't so devil-y, but whatever. The music is amazing.
