Tidal HiFi
If this doesn't make you get up and dance, you've got issues. I found a first pressing, factory sealed for $20. A whole lot better than $80 and $153 respectively for French and Japanese pressings.

If you love the Stax sound, you'll love these guy. As the story goes, an African American woman walked up to the lead singer, grabbed him by the hand and said, "You know, that white is going to rub off one of these days".
That's my last spin of the night. I've got to go to bed.

Seeing these guys in Tulsa, in October. Looking forward to it.

I'd be surprised if you didn't have this one. The question is do you have the original 1952 records, the numerous 1960's reissue records, the 2014 remastered records or the CD set. CD set myself.

I was always good at spending other people's money.

Nuggets (Original Artyfacts From The First Psychedelic Era 1965-1968). Had the albums but got the CD set which sounds (to me) so much better. Rhino did come out with a 40th AE set in vinyl if you have to have it that way. On CD 2 (of 4) at the moment.

Ry Cooder - Bop Till You Drop
Eric Bibb, Rory Block, Maria Muldaur - Sisters & Brothers

Thanks Doc for reminding me of that album.

Most won't remember but Cooder's "Bop Till You Drop" LP was the first digitally recorded vinyl album. I have it. I don't think it's as bad as some say. I do love the material, though.

Got the 1st pressing vinyl of that myself.

I do have one correction. Bop was the first POPULAR digital album. There were classical albums prior to it.

Of course, the other half of the question is who had the first Laser etched record?

Split Enz's album True Colours

I knew a had a couple. This one is from 1978. 45 RPM Digital PCM recording.
