Many years ago, I promised myself that I would learn a new instrument when I retired from playing the trap drums on stage. I thought it might be guitar, but let's face it folks, if I can't hit it, I can't play it. So, I bought a choir of congas. I know nothing about Latin music, but I didn't let that stop me. It's been hard to accept that I'll never play like these people, not even close. But it's been a fun ride.
