Yes, I have listened to it. He gave a lot of good info, and was very level headed concerning the FDA. I like his honesty and intelligence, and our palates seem to be somewhat aligned.
I thought that the interviewers were a bit in the obnoxious and know-it-all camp.

Dave Garofalo who runs the show does actually know a fair amount about the industry given he own one of the oldest online shops and has run IPCPR for years. The other guys are just shop employees that were recruited to help the show. Personally, I enjoy the banter, but its not for everyone. I just haven't found a cigar podcast that I like more.

From what I saw at the show, this is the "Year of the Short Robusto"...which I personally feel very positive about.

Just ordered a box of the eccj 20th from Serious Cigars in Houston! It was out of stock pretty much everywhere but there . . . so I have to admit, not knowing it had gone into regular production I thought I had REALLY scored bigtime! ;)

Still, since I missed the initial release, this is awesome news.

Good news/bad news...GOOD NEWS is the Neanderthal OM lanceros are finally for sale on the Stogies World Class site. BAD NEWS is they are 1 per person 5 packs right now.
 
Aaaannd the lanceros are GONE....more coming in a few weeks. Roma Craft whores are only slightly less rabid than Liga Sluts...

Yup, that's where I scored them last month. Same thoughts here too!

Ah well, they're still amazing cigars even if it's not my favorite vitola. I'll pick up some eccj Corona Gorda singles when they're available.
 
What's y'all's thoughts on boxes from Serious?
I won't buy non cello singles from them.

Lots of dust and hard water deposits (possibly white mold, too) on their stock.

Really? Never had any issues at all. I've always been a pretty big fan.
 
Same here. They've always been stellar for me---excellent service, fast shippers and great product. Of course, Houston's only 3 hours away, so stuff gets here within a few days every time.

They are 5 miles away, so only 2.5 hours drive. Lol

Next time I visit I'll see if I can snap some pics of the walk-in.
